The lowland nyala or simply nyala, is a spiral-horned antelope native to southern Africa. It is a species of the family Bovidae and genus Tragelaphus, previously placed in the genus Nyala. It was first described in 1849 by George French Angas. The body length is 135–195 cm, and it weighs 55–140 kg.

Matrix Island is a boat moored in St Katharine Docks, London. Its the only boat I've seen that has a children's trampoline so close to the edge of the deck.

A month ago we were in Atlantic Canada to visit family and had a couple of stops along the way to stretch our legs and hopefully, see some Fall colors. The colors were a patchy brilliance to see. One of the challenges I had was trying to isolate a colorful tree from the background clutter - as I did unsuccessfully here. I took the shot anyway and played with the "blur tool" sliders in Lightroom to get this effect. Don't look too close - but from a distance, it wasn't a total disaster to my eyes.
