The Sky Train uses an old Canadian Pacific tunnel under downtown Vancouver. In order to fit the old tunnel the North and Southbound trains are stacked on top of each other requiring bi-level stations. The low profile of the Expo line cars (as well as the color scheme) reminds me a bit of the Tube in London.
The hours for Baltimore's Light Rail. You can use it to go out at night as long as you don't want to stay out too late.
Original Charlotte trolley 85, built in 1927, is at East/West Blvd. Station outbound to Atherton Mill. This shot shows the line and station before it was rebuilt for Lynx light rail. Vintage cars operated until 2010, but in a bureaucratic snafu, #85 has been withdrawn from regular servicce. October 22, 2005. © 2009 Peter Ehrlich
