The High Line - Manhatten

Photo #15 (Jan. 18/11)

I shot this light before but wasn't happy with the way it turned out. Tonight, I figured I'd give it another try. Still nothing spectacular, but I like how the pole disappears into the darkness. I tend to use the rule of thirds a lot in my photos (in case you haven't noticed), this one is no exception.

Her thoughts probably were:

"Leaning on the light post with a drink in my hand

Feeling so tipsy, I can't even stand

Why do I have a feeling someone's watching me?

Can't this fool just let me be?"

My thoughts:

"GOTCHA."

Day 123

I wonder when the last time this had given light.... looks like the wires were cut long ago.
