Iceworld
The idea was to do a setup with a visible aurora in the sky. Some DIY iceworld stencil cut.
A77 + Walimex Pro 8mm with several aperture for the lights. Instant Aurora was done with a green & yellow gels mix on a foil dimmed Flash in continuous light mode.
One of my rare Dioramas. Inspired by the quality work of some great fellas like Matthias Heppt, Dennis Ryu Bär, Mirko Panzeri, Dave Gijon Asturias & last but never least Tim Gamble!
Had this plan for a very long time but the craft work scared me off. But it was worth the time!

Finally I got my Magilight by Fotorgear ordered in January 2018....it was perk 11??...one of the first supporters. I waited 11 months (!) for shipping but it was worth to wait. Finally due to problems with German duty laws I got the second, facelifted model! 😅 Now I should search some fresh files for next Magic Projects!

The Salvation of Dr. Hans Reinhardt
I´m a big fan of the Disney movie „The black hole“ since my childhood.
It was and still is fascinating and scary at the same time that Dr. Hans Reinhardt will stay there for all eternity........epic.... :) :P
I had this idea for ages.....happy how nice it turned out. Some tries with a tricksticked stargate in the background looked nice too, but I love the simplicity here.

I´ve suddenly got my little Trickstick, which I already supported in December 2016 at Kickstarter. I actually never wanted a Trickstick, because I was airfraid that it would kill the creativity.... But if I look at the possibilities and if you use it right I see it as a huge growth of creativity! What´s your opinion?

Triple expo + tripod swap with a77 & standard kit lens 18-55mm in a 485sec shot.
Start with silhouette flash, then swap to another tripod for the CRT Bokeh, step to the 3rd tripod and lit up the spiders shelter.
I hope the spider in my tube forgives about disturbance of the peace.... :)

I was very lucky....I looked for a tube in my backyard...found one @ my oven. I shot one testpic and was shocked in the first place...a cobweb inside.....with 4 spiders!
Double expo with a6000, samyang 12/2.0, some unexpected spiders in a tube, a laser and loads of good Karma in a 411 second shot.

That´s a lost picture from a crazy tube night last year... :)
Double expo + tripod swap with a77 & standard kit lens 18-55mm in a 263sec shot. I started to lit up the spiders shelter step to the 2nd tripod and ended up with an orange CRT Bokeh.
I hope the spider in my tube forgives about disturbance of the peace.... :)

Started with modified 300mm Tamron lens on the Sony. Lit up my eye with a remote triggered flash first. Then Lens swapped to 8mm fisheye
and stepped to second tripod to light up a DIY stencil cut out from behind with an orange gelled/dimmed Thorfire TK15s...I love this torch even in the standard version... :) ✨🚀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I like how the red light in particular lets my green Iris fade to red!

Set right focus to macro. Then lit up the tube from behind the cam with an orange gelled torch. That´s the magic. Any questions?
