Was invited into Portsmouth University's Eldon Courtyard to demonstrate some lightpainting techniques to students of photography and creative industries. A secondary objective was to illuminate the fascinating "I don't roll" installation, designed and built by the school of architecture.
There's a short film on youtube about the wooden I don't roll structure.
Was worried the courtyard might end up too bright, even at ISO100 & f/10 but fortunately someone found the light switches :-D
One shot, 578 seconds, 2 lenses swapped mid exposure .... no editing ...
50mm, chucked stones in the water and popped flash, lit the rock and water with a torch, swapped to 8mm, spun wool, painted fire men with a plastic sainsburys bag on a torch, closed shutter
Extra points for being able to see the giant dog in the sky :)

not placed in any groups and doesn't have any tagts and, in my opinion, is inferior to the other 2 pictures that I took at the same spot and uploaded at the same yet this one makes EXPLORE whereas the others struggle to make 100 views...strange
This is lit by hand in less than one second!
he past few months have been mostly about producing higher quality work. This is not very relevant for social media, but I'm obsessed with the idea of scaling up my images for some future projects.
This is a single exposure, fresh from today. Check out the close-up: twitter.com/ericpare/status/1587956945994108928 😱💙🌟
