At the Amsterdam Light Festival 2019-2020, one of the artworks was a metropolis plagued by floods and other natural disasters. Artist Utskottet demonstrated how this menacing scene can become a frightening reality.

Amsterdam Light Festival - One of the investigations that Hanna Betsema studied, stated that working with time blocks of 10 minutes is most effective. Since there are 1440 minutes in 24 hours, you have per day 144 blocks of 10 minutes; for each task, you may wonder whether you have one or more of these cubes limitations. Each block do you use short and sweet for that task. As you increase your concentration and do you like overview, and ultimately feels your day longer.
AMSTERDAM LIGHT FESTIVAL - Exactly The two gigantic lamps that appear between lampposts on the Golden Bend are a wonderful sight. Jeroen Henneman created 'Two Lamps' specifically for this beautiful part of the canal; it’s where the wealthiest people in Amsterdam once lived and where lawyers, bankers and insurance advisors now work.

Amsterdam Light Festival - Candle light, one of the first artificial light sources, is from ancient times used as functional (and essential) lighting. But now there are so many electric alternatives, many people associate the warm, soft light especially with fun, romance and relaxation. The designers hope the visitors, with their sea of candles, also equally to escape the hectic and the pressure of everyday life.
