I thought this was a wonderfully detailed photo, and a great capture of a beautiful model. I used the lasso tool to select the subject and copied this to a new layer. I darkened the background some and added blue with the color balance function.

I then selected the red car using the lasso tool and copied this to a new layer and applied a motion blur 90° horizontally...and also scaled it horizontally. I used the lasso tool again to select the red portion and used the hue function to make it green. I thought this helped bring out the color of her eyes.

I selected the edge of her head and copied to a new layer and applied it as a "darken: layer and used the airbrush eraser to blend it into the darkened background. The lighting modes can help with blending hairlines and with a little softness keep the individual hairs present.

I used the lasso tool with a strong feather and selected her mittens and hair. I applied some brightness, contrast and sharpness to this. I also tweaked her eye some and eliminated a few stray hairs that ran across and by her eye.

This is for the Fix My Pic Please group.

I really liked this photo very much, cMacSutt does a great job shooting...and very beautiful models too. The photographer had requested some seperation between the model and background, so I used the pentool and selectedt the model. I duplicathed this path and reworked portions for only the dress. I copied each to new layers.

For the dress layer I added a bit of brightness to try and bring out some more details and used a median noise of 2 pixels to help with the noise. I added a few layers of city lights for the background and reworked her hair a bit as well as touching up some of the cement.
