I'm still enjoying playing with my daughter's plasma ball. The opportunities are, if not endless, then at least good fun.

Another image of the Great Sand Dune National Park, taken soon after I crossed the Surge Flow.
Due to the detour (road closure) that delayed us by 3 hours, the sun was about to go below the dunes when we got there.
No epic golden colors here, just light and plenty of shadows; nevertheless, I'm happy with the few images that I got, and they are far better than the ones I took from the first visit in Sep 2019 - the early afternoon sun was flat and boring! 😉
The northeast region is having a heatwave, it's hot and humid ; oh "joy" of a hotter planet!
Have a fun-filled day, my dear Flickr friends!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that.
Martin Luther King
For some reason this quote came to my mind immediately when I took this photo. It may have to do with the dark times we are going through and the fact that we all need some light to cheer us up. This is why I chose this photo for this week's theme 'Quote' of the 'Smile on Saturday' group.
When you have come to the edge Of all light that you know And are about to drop off into the darkness Of the unknown, Faith is knowing One of two things will happen: There will be something solid to stand on or You will be taught to fly

At the very end of Cape Cod, and really the "end" of Massachusetts towards the Atlantic Ocean, you find Provincetown. Wood End Light is one of the gatekeepers and a symbol of Provincetown. You can reach it after a 1 mile walk across the causeway, followed by half a mile through the dunes.
The light was first illuminated on November 20, 1872 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

It was wonderful to finally meet up with Mimo Khair, an amazing photographer, whom I’ve known virtually (originally through Flickr) for a long time! We had a wonderful morning shooting in Central Park and making fun shots happen!
