Light at the end of the tunnel

A tunnel built by Union soldiers to try and sneek around Confederate troops

emerging from a cave.

took a photo from a cave model in the (philippine) national museum containing various artefacts (also models).

This tunnel, lined with brick, is part of an old bridge. The River Avon runs under the main spans and the tunnel only gets used when the river floods - at which point I would not be standing inside it taking a picture! But now it looks like the earth and grass are seeping through instead.

I was trying to test different frames and then luckily captured this. Lucky because the light under the bridge was due to the car headlight beaming from the view point above.

This is a picture that I took of a copper mine in Israel. it was mined in the 5th century.

After our fight last time we fled and got lost in the tunnels. We just wanted to get away from the ettercaps. Sure, Eragyn was most likely dead, but the ettercaps by themselves were enough of a problem, and we're exhausted. And then we meet these guys.

Covered bridge at McConnells Mill. This is one of my favorite pictures -- The bright red, and the color of the trees in the background. Also, the "light at the end of the tunnel" feel.

Yep...the old "light at the end of the tunnel" shot... :)

 

We saw our fair share of these during our two weeks in Italy.

So, when we finally take care of the remaining archer, we don't learn much. We didn't kill all of the mercenaries, but those that remained won't know much ...
