Sunrise from Hadzhi Dimitar peak

There is a light at the end of the tunnel after all... :)

Sunrise from Hadzhi Dimitar peak

The light at the end of the tunnel might not be the happiness you are hoping for.

Homeless men in Budapest, Hungary. It's several degrees below freezing. I hope they don't die. The light at the end of the tunnel could be the last light you see.

A women runner running in a tunnel with a bright light at the end.

Went through this cool tunnel in Portsmouth and had to take a snap.

Under renovation...if this was the UK they would put in temporary lighting while work was going on!

A tunnel that goes under the train tracks.

This is the original version.

Rushing headlong into the light...

Footpath tunnel within Vicar Water Country Park, near Clipstone in Nottinghamshire, UK. The tunnel is extremely dark and the colours and textures of the bricks are not normally visible whilst walking through it, unless you have a torch of course

East portal, Paw Paw Tunnel, C&O Canal National Historical Park

A brightly coloured tunnel in upper Leeds City Centre trails into vanishing point. The light at the end of the tunnel, a surreal vision of pattern and symmetry amongst the bustling city streets.

The Tunnel's End is approaching. The light is near.

Somewhere on the outskirts of Sarajevo, heading for Tuzla

I've been in bed sick with this dumb cold mostly all week. It's given me time to think, since sleep doesn't seem to be an option. This isn't the best photo, but that's been the story of my life lately.

Change.

That's what has been on my mind. I'm going through a lot of them right now, and frankly, I'm not handling them well. Examples? Getting older & the changes that makes on your body, mind, & perception of things & people. Being told I have fibromyalgia, & while relieved I may have an answer I'm saddened it is something that will never go away. The changing economy & its toll on every day living. My children growing up before my very eyes.

I recently had brunch with about 20 or so funtastic ladies. While talking to them (about photography & a lot of other things) I realized I had pulled myself away from the things & people that have meant the most to me.

Photography, friends, time...to grow & learn & just..well, be myself.

I've lost who I am somewhere along this road, and I'm determined to get that back.

Enough bitching & self pity. Have a good day :)
