I recited my last lifeskills speech yesterday.
I had a lot of nervous energy. And my mark was 43/50 (like that means anything.
Anyways afer the gathering we played some sports like football and volleyball.
And even after that, I lisened to Lydia play the piano. I almost fell asleep listening to it (that's supposed to be a compliment).
I realley enjoyed the song 1000 miles by Venassa Carlton, and Clocks by Coldplay. I guess i liked them over the others because i actually knew the songs.
Lydia is also a photographer and her photostream is Here.
Though i personally think she is a much better pianist than photographer.
I missed yesterday, i was at a lifeskills gathering in Trileaf colony.

This is the Holiday Inn Express at St Stephens Shopping Centre in Hull. On Saturday 2nd October I will dangling from its roof on a bit of rope.
As I plunge the 40m towads the pavement I’m hoping I will have time to reflect on why I agreed to abseil down the side of one of Hull’s tallest buildings.
1. The view from the top was spectacular.
2. I didn’t have to spend months in training to achieve something worthwhile.
3. I will have raised money for CASE, a local charity that supports people with learning disabilities by providing training and lifeskills.
CASE Training is the only independent charity in Hull and East Yorkshire that is dedicated to improving the lives of people with a learning disability. Through its social enterprise CASEWORKS, CASE provides meaningful and effective training and real-world work experience opportunities. In addition to their learning disability, many CASE trainees suffer from multiple disadvantages. Through CASE they not only gain work-based skills and vocational qualifications, but trainees also develop independence skills, hugely enhancing their quality of life and future prospects.
CASE is celebrating its 25th anniversary year in 2010. As always it is difficult for small independent charities to raise adequate sustainable funding. The sum of £40 supports a CASE trainee for a day.
I’m hoping to raise a modest £200 for CASE. I appreciate any donation you can make.
If you can spare a few quid I have set up a donation page at www.justgiving.com/case-abseil. Every little bit will help.

I was so indecisive today. I was thinking of heading out for a hike, but just couldn't commit. Instead lifeskills 101 was a trip to the dump. Picked up our neighbors garbage too and then headed out. Ethan was much more excited than I expected to be tossing bags of garbage around.
We did a kit from Michael's to make these colored water and sparkle things in a bottle. It was cool, he had fun and it was science.
Two days ago we started this huge Mario melty beads project and finished it today!!
As much as I don't want to panic and freak out, COVID-19 is serious and spreads very quickly. It is important to stock up on what you need so you can sustain your family at home without daily trips to town which welcomes the opportunity for the corona to spread more. We aren't panicking, but as my sister AH said, these are times to be cautious. We need to make smart choices to protect ourselves and each other. That also means when stocking up take what you need, but be mindful that others need supplies too so please don't be greedy.
I saw this sign at Fountain Tire today; "We're on this road together." I needed my tires changed by them as I needed 10 nuts replaced. Anyway I saw that sign and immediately thought yes we are. We maybe need to stay a little distance a part from each other, but we are still on this road together. Let's support each other when we need it. We've got this; together. If you need help, please ask. If someone can't help, then ask someone else.
*Don't be shy to ask for help. It doesn't mean you're weak, it only means you're wise - unknown

Jharkhand, India..Teenage girls alongwith women attends discussion on safe delivery, breastfeeding, immunisation, and other essential care practices during pregnancy and early childhood with Anganwadi worker (AWW) at Anganwadi Kendra in Ranchi. Anganwadi worker in every targeted village teams up with a small group of local resource people who are then given a basic training in nutrition, childcare and hygiene. Once trained, the team visits pregnant women and mothers of newborns in their homes to educate them about safe delivery, breastfeeding, immunisation, and other essential care practices during pregnancy and early childhood UNICEF is prioritizing reducing the high malnutrition and child mortality rates, and reaching out to millions of families in Jharkhand to address these concerns. The Dular strategy, which trains village women to counsel new mothers about breastfeeding and proper nutrition, is a successful approach that is already expected to prevent about one quarter of newborn deaths and save the lives of thousands of older babies and children. The Dular initiative is of particular importance to tribal children who are most vulnerable to disease, malnutrition and education disparities, as prejudice, isolation and misunderstanding make it difficult for these families to access services.
