Description: Rabbit Kidney (RK13) cells were infected by equine herpes virus type I. Three days post infection, the cells were fixed and the expression of glycoprotein M was detected by indirect immunofluosecence assay. The primary antibody is an anti-gM mAb and the secondary Ab is Goat anti-mouse IgG conjugated with Alexa 588.
Technique: indirect immunofluroscence assay; Zeiss Axiovert S100 Microscope, Axiocam MR3 (100X amplification).

Title: Clinical Trial Results of Max Enhancer Cream

Title: The Max Enhancer® Triple Blind Clinical Trial
We contracted Vedic Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd. to do a triple blind clinical trial of Max Enhancer®.
In our clinical study, we tested men suffering from sexual issues for 84 full days and the results were amazing.

Description: A zebrafish embryo with 12 hours of development. In the tail region, cilia can be spotted with a green labelling inside this organ called Kupffer´s vesicle. These cilia control the positioning of the internal organs inside the body cavities.
Technique: The zebrafish embryo image was acquired using an optical microscope with differential interference contrast. The zoom up of the tail region was acquired using a confocal microscope. The cell nuclei are labelled red with TOPRO-3 and the cilia were labelled green with an anti-acetylated alpha-tubulin antibody.

Its aim is to convey the huge scale of the genome itself, the rarity of the information rich regions, but the richness of the information that we know within those regions. We hope that it inspires in people a sense of curiosity about bioinformatics and biology as a whole, and amazement at the wonder that is the Human Genome.

Scientists searching the human genome data for genes and the DNA sequences that control their activity have a valuable new resource, courtesy of the Japanese delicacy known as fugu (Fugu rubripes), the puffer fish. An international consortium, led by researchers at the Joint Genome Institute (JGI) of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), sequenced the Fugu genome.

The image shows a raw micrograph in the background and the final cryo-EM structure (coloured density map) of the F-actin-tropomyosin complex. The complex is one of the key components of muscle contraction and is also important for cytoskeletal functions like transport processes and cell stability.
We obtained the cryo-EM reconstruction at 3.7 Å resolution. The data set was recorded on a TITAN Krios with EPU using a Falcon II detector. The results were published in Nature in 2015 (von der Ecken et al., 2015).
