"After collecting secondhand high school, middle school, and primary school-level textbooks, Li assembled stacks of literature in his studio in Beijing, China. From these towers, he hand-carved the busts and effigies of school children, leaving the edges raw and unfinished. Uncharacteristically silent and stationary when crafted as statues, these pupils sit on battered, old, school desks which also tell stories of past lessons and conversations. Li creates a ghostly narrative in which education and impressionable vessels – youths who will determine our future – are inseparable. "
The most relaxing and beautiful part of the tour seeing the beautiful scenery along the Li River.

My buddy Hector decided to go and visit his sister and brother in law in Tennessee before his brother in law shipped out to Afghanistan for a year. The plan for me was to fly out and meet him, spend a few days, and then drive a vehicle he was picking up back. We were going to stop just outside of Atlanta, Georgia for a day to visit his Mother in-law.
We got to her house and as we were sitting down inside, in walked this squirrel. She said to us, "Oh! There's Li'l Bit!"
Li'l Bit is a squirrel she and her ex boyfriend had rescued and took care of when they found it hurt one day. He lived with them for some time and eventually went back to being a "wild" squirrel. He is however not afraid of people and aside from some food aggression is very friendly. Just don't try to take his cashews. He actually ran up my pants onto my arm and ate some nuts out of my hand. He just perched on my wrist and ate. It was a trip as you may imagine.

Li: As a blogger she can be seen in her pictures as a kind of chameleon showing so many facettes of what she could or might be. For me this picture represents also the big gap between these sides: from being all woman to almost badass racing girl. Fascinating person and awesome friend!
Die Karstlandschaft des Li River mit seinen Hügeln gilt in China als Inbegriff einer schönen Landschaft.
Xianggong hill is located at an isolated village in the middle of the most beautiful part of Li river scenic area. It has an elevation of 200 meters and with a straight height of 50 meters. Its hilltop provides a wonderful panoramic view of Li river valley.
