In order to celebrate Pride, and give something to the LGBT community (however small that something might be), I decided to create a series of abstract images featuring the colors of various LGBT pride flags.

To end this roller coaster of 2020, I wanted to go with a formal "dress to the 9's" look to end it with a bang 💥

Reflecting back on 2020, this has been a trying year with milestones met and challenges faced head on. For me on a personal level, I am now more comfortable with my true self and have even come out to a few co-workers and family members on what my plans are over the next 5 years as Kris. With the support of my wife and close friends, road bumps and setbacks lay ahead but, I feel that I am ready to face this head on!

Remember we are only on this earth for so long, make the most of it for YOURSELF and not living for others expectations! Cut out the naysayers and negativity to attain your goals!

I’m at the National Portrait Gallery in London to see its latest acquisition – an oil on linen portrait of Peter Tatchell, the prominent political, environmental and human rights campaigner. It’s a vibrant portrait by Sarah Jane Moon, which matches the sitter’s energy very well.

Peter Tatchell was one of the founders of the AIDS activist group ACT UP London, and the LGBT direct action organisation OutRage! He twice attempted a citizen's arrest of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe for human rights violations, and was badly beaten by Mugabe’s thugs for his trouble.

A man of undoubted commitment and integrity, he also founded the Peter Tatchell Foundation, a non-profit, nonpartisan organisation which ‘seeks to promote and protect the human rights of individuals, communities and nations in accordance with established national and international human rights law’.

We tried to go with an all pink look for this before switching over to a black wig.

This was the other costume I wanted to do for the Halloween shoot. Yeah, yeah played out but it was one of my bucket list items to do. We first tried the blonde look to see how that work followed by the black china cut wig (as previously photographed).

A lot of fun for this outfit shoot. Might do another rendition in the near future 💅 💄

Digging through the clothing rack at the studio, we found this one untouched at the back as its a smaller size (perfect for me lol). Finally something that fit my frame and super flowing! 😍💋

Since I've received a lot of positive feedback on the other long dresses, we figured to try and evening dinner look with and up-do and hint of shimmer 💋

Christopher Park must be one of the smallest parks in New York. It's just a small slice of land with flowers, a few trees, and some comfortable benches. Most importantly, however, is its sculpture by George Segal commemorating the events that occurred across the street when gay patrons at the Stonewall Inn rose up and said "we won't take it anymore" and demanded quality and justice for gay people everywhere. So, the park and its immediate surroundings are sacred space in the quest for equality and justice. That's what makes this very small slice of land a very big slice of history.
