Well I must say I was shocked at the scale of the flooding in the Somerset Levels after a trip up there last week. I have nothing but sympathy for everyone effected by the floods there and everywhere else in the UK for that matter - awful.

I lay down on the ground to shoot this. Very proud of myself for managing to get up by myself!
I took more shots today than I have taken in forever. And I loved doing it. Maybe I'm back.
ANSH: Ground Level
The dogs and I had a run out to the Levels today and met Joy and Graham. Not much wildlife to be seen but a lovely day for a walk.

Taken for Dyxum challenge July-Youly which I am lagging behind a little
In the past 4 days I made two trips to Chicago O’Hare International Airport and each time I parked in the massive parking garage. It is actually quite easy to find your car if you remember these 2 important things, the level you parked on and the elevator center you used. Even though I had to learn this the hard way, I look back and have a good laugh at my misadventure.
My story. In years past I would typically leave someone off or pick them up at the terminal to avoid having to park. A few years ago I decided to park in the garage for the first time. I parked my car and walked over to the elevators. All over the elevator center was plastered the logo of a Chicago sports team. I thought, this should be easy to remember. To return to my car, all I need to do is take the elevator to the level giving tribute to this Chicago sports team.
A short time later as I was heading back to my car, I stopped at the first elevator terminal (my first mistake). Upon entering the elevator I went to press the button to go to the “sports” level and froze. What!?!? Every level was labeled with a different Chicago team! Which one was it, Cubs, Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks, Bears, or Wolves? I realized that finding my car was going to be a challenge. The short story: There are 9600 parking spots on 6 levels with multiple elevator centers accessing each level. After an hour and a half and several miles walking, I finally decided to humble myself and ask for help.
Now I just keep track of the level and the elevator center number, and snap a few photos to compensate for my "sometimes challenged" short term memory. It is so easy!
sunlight diffused by the large iron bars and security mesh over the windows provides a little natural light (but certainly no view) for the former inmates at this abandoned prison.

Frog Level
Waynesville, NC
Haywood County
Waynesville is about 20 miles from where we live. The town started to develop after the arrival of the railroad in 1884. The tracks were laid along Richland Creek and downhill from Main Street. The low land was mostly a swampy area until the train depot and train arrived.
The area got its name from the local people due to its low-lying location along the river or the "Frog Level" when the water rose.
Sorry I have not been on Flickr much lately, I haven't been out taking photos since our Disney World vacation. I really must get out more. I have missed all of you.
Cinderella Exhibit in the El Capitan lower level. Display of props and production artwork and photos from the movie. #11. Cinderella movie poster featuring Helena Bonham Carter as Fairy Godmother. Stepsister Drisella's ball gown.
Photos from the El Capitan Theatre, where I watched Cinderella and Frozen Fever this afternoon (Saturday March 14, 2015). They had props from the movie, including the Swarovski glass slipper. Due to the crowds of people around the displays, I couldn't get clean shots of some of the props, including the glass slipper. Prior to the showing of Frozen Fever, there was a live appearance by Olaf, who sang In Summer.
As part of my VIP ticket package, I got a LE 750 El Capitan Theatre Cinderella ticket pin. It is a sliding pin, with Mickey and the El Capitan logo in front, and a sliding Cinderella ticket stub, featuring the glass slipper with a deep blue background.
I loved both Frozen Fever and Cinderella. Frozen Fever was fast paced and very funny. Cinderella was a gorgeous movie to look at, and the scenes with Cinderella and the Prince were truly magical, as I had hoped from the seeing the trailers.
These Urban Foxes this year, we monitored as they were born in the estate under a garden shed. But it was a long wait until the parents would take them to the safety of their playground and the surrounding woods. This meant that we didn't get really small cub images.
The targets I had set myself with every visit was to be all low level or very close up images.
I was aiming to capture the way these foxes survey their area. the adventure would gain the trust of the Vixen and Dog, at time would just lay in the background while the foxes came to interact.
I have learnt to just stay and let the wildlife accept you, no need to chase, they will in time slowly but surely give you that small window to capture a moment.
Thank you all for taking the time to view.
Be Nice, Be Kind.
