The current exhibit at Florida Craftsmen Gallery in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida is a summer beguilement, filled with clever toys and games crafted by artists that are part hands-on entertainment and part sculptural objects. I had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot there this week with a local photography meet-up group.

I had different processing for this shot, reuploaded a few times until I ended up uploading this version anyway. (I'm afraid I need to do something with my screen calibration because apparently, the original post I uploaded from the office looked overly exposed on my laptop when I arrived at home. How does this look at yours?Errrr) Hmmm I might post another version later if I don't get settled looking at this. Hahaha! =)

If play is not more important than study, then it is at least as important as study I would say.
We need to make sure our kids have lots of space and time for playing and it is not going to be study, study and more study all the time.
And it is important also that play is for the sake of playing only. I don’t like those games designed for educational purposes. Play is for fun only!

Just over 13 weeks now and little Harry isn't quite so little but his dedication to his play and his food haven't changed one iota. Both of those things make the world a glorious place. What a perfect life philosophy. :)
Occasionally, I meet someone who radiates joy and their energy is contagious. Yesterday, I met "Happy Dog", who approached me with everything wagging - I mean it was a WHOLE BODY WAG! "Happy Dog" was in my presence for only about 5 seconds and ran back to his/her calling owner who was taking him/her on a walk. Luckily I had my camera in hand...
Meeting "Happy Dog" was a moment of pure joy for me (and I hope for us both)... (:
