In my entire walk around Papa John's Corporate Headquarters today the only ding I can possibly give them is this one bush - it was infested with bagworms and they spread quite quickly. Other than that, these grounds were so incredibly beautiful I was blindsided. They actually had fish in their ponds, the water was aerated, no standing algae, no litter, all of the ducks and geese looked incredibly happy and healthy and the visual beauty of this place is stunning. The quality of the workmanship is superior beyond anything I've seen locally and with the exception of these bagworms I'd give them an A (minus the plus because of the above photo). : )
He's got walking trails all around the grounds with mile markers on them and it is stunning. I did not see any "no trespassing" signs or "no fishing" signs or "no dogs" signs - it really is a stunning place on the outside. There is plenty of parking and the handicap ramps do not run you right out onto the roadway like they do where I live. It is a very welcoming place.
What did strike me as odd, though is that I was there around lunch time and I was the only person there walking these grounds.

In the early 1800s, the original Galt House was a residence owned by Dr. W.C. Galt. In 1835, a 60-room hotel was opened as the Galt House Hotel across the street from the residence at the northeast corner of First and Main.
In 1865, the hotel was destroyed by fire; but within weeks, noted architect R. Whitestone began plans for construction a block away from the original site. The new Galt House Hotel opened in 1869 and operated until 1919. It was razed in 1921.
Over half of a century later, in 1972, Galt House Hotel was reestablished by developer Al J. Schneider as part of Louisville's Riverfront Urban Renewal Project. Carpenter by trade, he built the 25 stories high RIVUE Tower, which features beautiful handcrafted woodworking, on the banks of the Ohio River. Galt House Hotel continued to expand with the creation of the SUITE Tower in 1984. Galt House Hotel remains Louisville’s only waterfront hotel.

Cheltenham Wetlands Park was once part of the U.S. Naval Radio Station, Cheltenham, Maryland. It was commissioned in 1939.
“The original antenna fields, comprising creosoted wood telephone poles and metal antenna towers, were located in the acreage surrounding the buildings. All metal antenna poles have been removed from the installation. Some abandoned creosoted wood poles remain in the wooded and swampy sections of the installation.
Established as a radio receiving station before World War II, the installation's mission evolved to administration during the Cold War era.”
