Amazing how when Lent arrives the seafood suddenly gets better. Even the shrimps clean themselves up. The card is for size comparison only. If you do purchase shrimp here in Kentucky be sure to de-vein them and soak them in milk to absorb the toxins and odor prior to serving.
Yet the US Government now does not require a certificate of origin from seafood, hence these shrimps could be from a sewage laden shrimp farm in Thailand or oil laden Gulf of Mexico. This "Sustainable Seafood" refrigeration unit has been malfunctioning for years. Frequently we will see orange ballasts on the floor where water and freon leak through. Kroger did make a concerted effort to at least provide non-rancid seafood during Lent, which was nice.
Many times when shopping in this Kroger the rancid odor will sicken my dog. I hope they fix this! I try not to go into this store.

MSD is well-known as the sewer and stormwater utility,
wastewater treatment plant operator and keeper of the
floodgates. MSD is also the permittee on the Municipal
Separate Storm Sewer System permit for Jefferson
County. As the holder of the permit, MSD is tasked with
enforcing the Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control
Ordinance in Jefferson County.
The goal of the EPSC Ordinance is to improve stream water quality by reducing the amount of sediment discharged from
construction sites to streams.

2. Consult with and/or hire experienced, qualified engineers & hydrologists.
3. Study/learn/master drainage calculations and patterns.
4. Become better familiar with long-term weather patterns.
5. Plan ahead (as in, short-term / long-term - it is not unrealistic to expect this in our lifetimes).
6. It's not cool to flood homes all the time - please check that. The University of Louisville already has enough student housing and buildings.
7. Be considerate of your neighboring communities when trashing hundreds of acres. They will (or may not) thank you for it - depending on the quality of your work.

This is the McDonalds where we first encountered numerous problems with bringing a service dog into the restaurant, starting with Sammy (my smaller service dog) in 2012. We were ordered out numerous times, screamed at and had the police called on us. The latest was when I'd bought in a pad for her to lay on (floor always had spilled food, soda, etc...). We were ordered to leave issued a summons for "Criminal Trespass". I said I would leave when we were done, which we did.
Yet in almost 20 years neither Jefferson County nor Oldham County enforces this. Not in Kentucky, USA. More particulate, anyone? It's actually quite comical considering the glut of black vehicles & opaque tinted windows in the area - more paying customers for the local car wash, cancer centers, ENTs, eye doctors, windshield companies and drug stores. Decreased productivity in the remaining workforce. Kentucky taxpayers pay the legislative & executive branch of this government over $1 Million USD each for their "lifetime" of *service* plus paying local and State taxes, local and state officials and enforcement agencies, yet in their lifetime not one thing has changed. People, wildlife, and the environment are suffering the same fate here as they did a lifetime ago. Why are all of the above still getting paid millions for *jobs* and work they never did? Welcome to Kentucky, USA, aka "Little New Jersey".
It would take ONE person - ONE - to be at the exits of these quarries and gravel pits to ensure *all* trucks were tarped prior to leaving the area. If that is beyond their budget, how about a BIG SIGN?
Respiratory ailments, lung cancer, cataracts, and COPD are a way of life here.
Apparently, this is the reason many clients & patients were not able to obtain their medical records from this facility - there was a massive Medicare/Medicaid/ Insurance fraud throughout Kentucky & Indiana hospitals.
They're just *gone*.

The only problem - when a patient requests their complete records a good portion of critical information is missing. That is why it is imperative to get copies before they leave the building - for their own protection, and read them over to ensure accuracy before leaving the building. Oftentimes what actually transpired in a medical setting is not what is recorded in medical records.

EY = Ernst & Young, EY is a behemoth of a company. I hope they fill these boxes as they are everywhere in the world and will probably expand over time. I have not followed the dumpster driver to see where they dispose of these textiles but I am sure they have a legitimate disposal/recycling area. I have personally witnessed many of the projects they fund here in Kentucky and elsewhere and they are excellent. I would not hesitate to support any of their endeavors, if even just to fill this box with shoes.
There are many individuals who walk in this area -
one must be careful when walking up to this container as drivers whizzing by are not always vigilant. I wish them luck in crossing this road.
This particular container is put together very well and operates flawlessly. Kudos to whomever made it.

Actually, the reason I went over to see this place today is because I wanted to thank Papa John's (in pictures) for all his support to the Occupy camp in downtown Louisville a number of years ago - he supplied pizzas to the encampment down there which helped feed the supporters of the Occupy cause. I did not expect it to be this beautiful at his Corporate office. Thank you, Papa John, your pizzas very much appreciated by the many wounded, discarded and lost and homeless US Military Veterans (many from Kentucky's 101st Airborne whom the VA as well as local hospitals shunned, abused and abandoned) who visited there during those months. Some of these kids still had peach fuzz on their faces - with half their body parts shot off, abandoned by their friends and families. It was a very trying time for many - your pizzas were excellent. We did not forget - just couldn't get around 2it. : )
