One of the most alien places on Earth, Mono Lake is also one of the most beautiful. Stark and desert like, it is the eastern gateway to Yosemite and Mammoth Lakes.

Antelope Butte is nestled between the Teton and Gros Ventre mountain ranges. It sits in the valley that was once dubbed Jackson's Hole and where the town of Jackson, Wyoming got its name.
For whatever reason I've always thought this hill had its own personality and have enjoyed photographing it over the years.
There is some impressive architecture in Panama City. The dichotomy of the ultra modern skyline and the "antique" boats in the old port San Felipe.
It is not the first time I captured this fallen tree in lake Bruchtalsee but it is the first time in black and white. The water isn't that smooth every day, which allows to gain that look and the reflections of the reed.

In the woods, an old defence line from the 17th century meanders through the hills and valleys next to my home place in southwestern Germany. This Eppinger lines reached from Weißenstein (Pforzheim) over Sternenfels, Eppingen, right to Neckargmünd with a total length of 86 kilometers. This construction was built during the War of the Palatinate Succession (pfälzischer Erbfolgekrieg) in which the French King Louis XIV (called the Sun King) claimed the heritage of Elisabeth Charlotte, Princess of the Palatinate. Today, a nice hiking trail follows the line and reconstructed lookout towers can be visited.

This fruit tree was in full bloom by the end of march. The warm light of the setting sun was reflected by the scene and the blossom leaves of the tree. This fine situation was also used by a wedding photographer, taking her clients to this tree.

While my mum and I were waiting for my sister's flight to arrive, the idea was to take some photos of the airfield during blue hour. Therefore, I used one of the viewpoints, which normally plane spotters use.

Yesterday was National Public Lands Day and I was fortunate to spend the day in Grand Teton National Park. While on my way to going fishing, I stopped at the iconic Oxbow Bend on the Snake River to make this image. It's starting to look like Fall in the Teton's...

The Moulton Barn in Grand Teton National Park is one of the two most photographed locations in Wyoming. The other is Devils Tower. This time of year there is usually hoards of visitors at the barn, surprisingly there was no one there when I stopped by recently.
