I think I can save this one. Another seam repair in a very small seam allowance. Also, the snap has popped which may mean that the snaps were too far apart. It may need to be moved.

The doll is an OOAK American Girl. She's still needing a bit more hair and some paint touchups (Her poor lips have faded to a rather icky color.)

Jamie's dress is from the regular pattern, but Fluff's required a major re-vamp of one of the patterns. I want to make a 2nd version to be sure I have the pattern right before posting it.

Going for the "authenticity" look here ...

We LOVE Mattel Barbie dresses, clothes, ensembles ... both vintage AND modern ... and occasionally try to incorporate them with our Blythe Models ...

Here, SOPHIA SAPPHIRE, a (stock) CBB (Curly Blue Babe) ...

is wearing Mattel's Vintage 1960's Dress #978 ... "LET'S DANCE".

It came with a pearl necklace (not the one Sophia is wearing); a little white leatherette clutch, and black OT (open toe) sandals.

Apparently, there is another GREEN version of this dress out there, as well as many "hand-made copies" in the same style and pattern, so there is a variety floating around out there.

We just thought it would be FUN to put SOPHIA in an up-do PONYTAIL, the style of that day / era.
