This leaf teaches me a principle, that until you let go you will never know what will happen, this leaf broke its connection to the tree but is still held in the air and not falling to the ground just yet.
The view into my parents' house, through the front door window with reflections of neighboring houses on the opposite side of the street. The house has been turned into a Bed and Breakfast place by the new owners. They have done a great job with renovation, and to me it's a charming idea to know that people from many different places come here (mostly by bike, as the lower Rhine area is popular for bike tours) and enjoy their stay in the nicely decorated rooms and the fantastic breakfast that the landlady offers. (We spent one night there - and it was a mixture of most different feelings to be there as a guest, I can tell you!)
