This time in landscape orientation. Such a beautiful morning to be there for the dawn.

Leo was one of my loveable grand dogs. He was a hurricane Katrina survivor and just a puppy at that time. He was relocated to Philadelphia where my daughter and her family adopted him. He recently passed away at the age of 15 but he had a wonderful, happy, pampered life.

Leo and Sunshine this version I did in B&W, he loves the sunshine, shot in North Carolina.

Five years today, our handsome and funny Leo crossed the Rainbow Bridge.... he died of mouth cancer...

8/5/2005-3/1/2017

Leo was Bob's litter brother...

having seven cats at one time, sadly we have only two, Bob and Lola (both 17)... all the others died with from different forms of cancer...

They all left us way too soon...

Leo enjoyed prowling around on my terrace. This may not be freedom but the terrace is considerably bigger than the balcony he has at home and so this experience was quite an adventure for him.

Nollaig shona daoibh go léir!

my beautiful and funny Leo crossed the Rainbow Bridge and much too soon... with mouth cancer.

He was Bob's litter brother and such totally different personalities... Leo was a talker and such a funny boy that would eat anything like a dog and would let me do anything to him... even wearing costumes!!

He is greatly missed...

Here is Leo, Charlie Brown's new little brother. I went to visit him today and take a few photos. This was one of the first photos I took and he was still a bit tired but that changed quickly. More photos of him will follow. In the comments I add one which shows him with his brother, for those who wanted to see them together. :)

I can't believe it's 8 years our Leo crossed the bridge...

Mouth cancer...

He had the biggest personality and talker... he was more like a dog than a cat...

I miss him dearly....

We had 7 cats at one time... and most all of them died with some kind of cancer.... horrible to see your loving pet go through this disease...

Last one. Honest.

Thanks to all who have visited, commented or faved my photos. (It would be nice if you left a comment too) It is very much appreciated. Constructive criticism welcome

Leo rising people like to be colourful, and in fact, if they have very quiet, darker coloured Sun or Moon, then really the rising sign should take precedence with the lovely reds and oranges and yellows, or just very clear colours, going in to whites.

....the sleeping lion cat :)

These two are best buddies. Leo is about six months older than Minty and they are really the same size. Not sure why Leo looks smaller here. What I found interesting about this photo is that it shows how unique Australian Shepherd's eyes can be. Leo has brown eyes with one eye that has a big splash of blue in it. Minty has one blue eye and one brown eye. Her blue eye has a wedge of brown in it. Both these anomalies are found in the breed and are not unusual for an Australian Shepherd.

Thank you very much in advance for your kind comments and faves! They are much appreciated!

Many thanks from Leo too!
