I've been getting reacquainted with the vinyl stash I accumulated circa 1994-2002. There are going to be a few more of these.
I'm incredibly impressed with the album art collection here so I'll try to avoid duplicates of those.
If quirky vintage album covers are not your thing, you can skip ahead to newer photography hereabouts.
Lenny Dee had such a long and prolific career that it's fun to see how his music evolved with the fashions—and how his fashions evolved, too. Right from the start he was a natty dresser, but this groovy jacket is something else.
You can check out his whole discography pictured here (caution, auto-playing organ music).
By the time of this 1976 album, Lenny's rhythm pyrotechnics were seriously toned down; and adding strings & chorus he had moved far into soft-pop/MOR territory. Actually a couple of tracks here even have a disco influence.
The red-haired woman seems to be asking, "am I doing this right? I've never been the acolyte of an international Hammond superstar before."
