I was traveling to India. This was one of my dream trips to 19000 feet . It's Leh Ladakh in India.
This was captured towards our trip to Leh, we stopped at Sarchu camp. Everywhere the word "Julley" was written, upon enquiry I found that it means "Hello" in Leh.
This hot was taken joust outside our Golddrop fixed camp, the sun was setting and I have never seen such a beautiful sunset.

The stark martian mountainscape of Ladakh is left behind with a view of the 18,000 ft mountains surrounding Leh airport (IXL) and a group of prefabricated Army "Mess" huts in the higher valley. The flight, a Go Air Airbus A320 turned right sharply to avoid the peaks at the head of the valley and climbed north-west, following the Leh-Srinagar national highway towards Kashmir.

I took this shot on day three of the 15-day 2007 Ladakh Festival at the Leh Polo Ground. The festival is held annually in Leh and nearby venues and includes polo games, archery competitions, music concerts, Cham Dances (Mask Dances), rock climbing, river rafting and camel safaris.
