Panzer III:
Panzer III was the common name of a medium tank that was developed in the 1930s by Germany and was used extensively in World War II. The official German designation was Panzerkampfwagen III (abbreviated PzKpfw III) translating as "armoured battle vehicle". It was intended to fight other armoured fighting vehicles and serve alongside the infantry-supporting Panzer IV. However, as the Germans faced the formidable T-34, stronger anti-tank guns were needed. Since the Panzer IV had a bigger turret ring, the role was reversed. The Panzer IV mounted the long barreled 7.5 cm KwK 40 gun and engaged in tank-to-tank battles. The Panzer III became obsolete in this role and for most purposes was supplanted by the Panzer IV. From 1942, the last version of Panzer III mounted the 7.5 cm KwK 37 L/24, better suited for infantry support. Production of the Panzer III ended in 1943. However, the Panzer III's capable chassis provided hulls for the Sturmgeschütz III until the end of the war.

I stood there, just for a second, in the beautiful fields of the Netherlands. For the first time in months, a small smile crept onto my face. Looking out to the horizon as far as my eyes could see, parachute after parachute was dropped from the sky. The beauty of the Dutch country instilled a sense of hope in me. We’d been fighting this war for years; the landing on Normandy had been a success, and Paris had been liberated, but the fight seemed to have no end. As I glanced one last time over the fields, the flowers reminded me of those my mother used to plant in our family garden back home. My fondest memories are from my childhood home and, along with the occasional card I receive, keep me going through the everyday miseries of war.

Sd.Kfz. 142/1. Introduced in December 1942 and saw action till 1945, 8,423 produced, 142 built on Panzer III Ausf. M chassis, 173 converted from Panzer III): The final and by far the most common of the StuG series.
I finished this like a day before the new Lego set leaked, and I have no idea why I'm only posting it now.
I wanted to use more brick-built tehniques in this attempt, and I think that was a good choice. My last version also couldn't be built in real life. This one can!
This obviously has a thinner profile when compared to Lego's, but it's only about two studs shorter. I think Lego did a great job scaling and capturing the look of the plane relatively accurately.
This isn't my best pic!

You ask, what is our policy? I will say: It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny, never surpassed in the dark and lamentable catalogue of human crime.
Years in the making... Now, very nearly at a point I'm happy with.
Of course, it would never be complete without Brickarms weaponry and BrickMania's Tracks, Muzzle, and Barrel.
The Battle of Budapest was the 50-day-long encirclement by Soviet and Romanian forces of the Hungarian capital of Budapest, near the end of World War II. Part of the broader Budapest Offensive, the siege began when Budapest, defended by Hungarian and German troops, was first encircled on 26 December 1944 by the Red Army and the Romanian Army. During the siege, about 38,000 civilians died through starvation or military action. The city unconditionally surrendered on 13 February 1945. It was a strategic victory for the Allies in their push towards Berlin.
