In connection with the premiere of "The Witcher" series from Netflix, we decided to introduce you to the climate of the Sapkowski world by presenting stories from the collection "Last Wish" in several MOCs.
Yesterday stazoo presented outstanding crypt from "The Witcher" story (first one wrote by Sapkowski and published in 1986, some of us weren't even born yet xD)
"A Grain of Truth", I used as inspiration for my MOC, is based on "The Beauty and the Beast" fairy tale but it has vibe of dark fantasy, very distinctive for Sapkowski's prose.
- There is a grain of truth in every fairy tale - said the witcher quietly - Love and blood. They both possess a mighty power. Wizards and learned men have been racking their brains over this for years, but they haven't arrived at anything, except that...
- Except what, Geralt?
- It has to be true love.
This is the feline armor set from the Witcher 3. It's a huge step up from my previous Geralt minifigures, and I'm very happy with this. Enjoy!
A long overdue build dedicated to the best game I have EVER played. A little collaboration with my friend (BrickManStudios) which we displayed at Bricktastic this year.
This is a recognisable location that you encounter when you first enter Velen, better known as “No Man’s Land”. This is a large and lore rich part of the game, the land is ravaged by war and in constant turmoil. It’s gritty, dark, swampy and full of surprises. I loved getting lost in the map and its many quests.
Im quite happy with the overall model, the locations itself is rather boring, so I tried to add as many little details to make is seem rich. The build is definitely not your usual cheerful LEGO MOC.
Shoutout to @cdprojektred for making a game that truly changed my life, the music the story, all of it is brilliant. Also @dougcockle for providing an iconic voice for an Iconic protagonist. Custom Geralt by @drzarkow .
What do you think of the build?

The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt - Contract: Spectral Dogs
Geralt accepted a rather strange witcher contract in Velen this time. A small village had been plagued by spectral creatures for a while, which slaughtered peasants at midday. Since it was harvest time the villagers needed help quickly, in order to not let too much food go to waste, and survive the winter.
Geralt's initial thought was that a noonwraith must be involved. In order to learn more about the accidents, he decided to speak with the nearest peasant in sight, which happened to be dusting outside a little shack.
"I'm here for the wraith that's been troubling you and your folks. Care to share me some details?"
The man glanced up with tired eyes, not interrupting his current task. "Oh, I don't think it's a wraith."
"Hmm. Why so?" Geralt asked, quite surprised by the fact that a simple farmer would have such a theory.
The peasant leaned against his broom and continued, "Well, since the creature seems to leave blood trails. You can check it out yourself over there in the field. And in corporeal form it leaves tiny paw prints too. If ye ask me, I say it's a bloody mongrel!"
Geralt raised his eyebrows. Never had he heard anything similar before.
Even so, he immediately got an idea to preclude the proposal. "Only one way to find out. Do you have any dog-chew or bones to spare?"
"Actually I do. I guess it's your lucky day, witcher. One moment."
The peculiar farmer went into the shack, coming out a minute later with a dirty bone in his hand.
"Thanks. Let's get this over with," Geralt mumbled with a low voice.
When he turned around, the grass along the path suddenly started to sway as if in the wind, albeit it was calm. The witcher suspected something spectral was in the vicinity. He needed to move fast and therefore find his horse.
"C'mon now, where are you Roach?
I thought it was a little fun to write a witcher 3 side quest to this pic. Forgive me for grammar errors, it was a long time ago I wrote dialogues in English. I only made some minor research and gave it a shot.
The shack is supposed to stand next to my medieval chapel in a bigger moc later on. I worked a lot with the declined roof. The technique is based on things I've seen from Ranghaal among others. A soccer net and leaf parts.
Note (for people not familiar with The Witcher):
Roach is Geralt's horse. A somewhat famous and memefied glitch in TW3 is that Roach sometimes end up on roofs when summoned :)
