Had a lot of fun in the past months here with you dear Flickr friends. Thank you for your support, comments, critics and favorites. I enjoy them every minute!
Made for Hero February over on Instagram.
Just a fun little build primarily for my own enjoyment, made with the goal of using only pieces I currently have in my collection and of course, finishing before the end of the month.
Nitroblast and the Fire Villains are definitely a soft spot for me in the HF Roster, with some very charming sets and interesting designs from the earliest days of CCBS. With this revamp I wanted to honor the most unique and iconic features from the original, while doing my best to balance a cleaner, sleeker design with the Fire Villain's signature style of spikes, flames and jet engines.
It was a lot of fun to tackle a weirder character and design, without the pressures of more humanoid proportions and techniques.
I hope you all enjoy!

I
I upgraded this guy a couple months back, but since everyone's doing new photoshoots for #nationalselfmocsday I figured now would be a good time to post him!
The updates are mainly to his proportions and stability, with a drone companion and arm-cannon added on for kicks and giggles. Oh yeah, energy cells on his back for powering his weapons.
Overall I'm really happy with where RT is right now, kinda feels like I've worked all of the kinks out of this particular iteration.
Thanks for checking him out! Have a great day! ~Stronk.
This motorcycle was something I was have been working on since November of last year. I think that was due to procrastination or how I kept on getting stump on design choices.

I decided to end off the WIP pictures by doing a shot in the light-box. I'm currently waiting for a BrickLink order to come in, once it does I can replace Phil's CCBS fists with proper articulated hands, then he will be complete!

Always ready for anything, there's no job too tough for Tetsuo and his trusty animal(?) companion HAKKO... as long as it requires soldering...
My entry to Bio-Cup 2023 round 1
Theme: Manmade Biome
Inspired by the standard tools found in a basic soldering kit.
Although they appear similar to the Serrator, they have much greater evil powers. They are not the works of a man, but they appear to have been created by an evil entity...
My entry into the Bio-Cup 2023 Preliminary round. Theme: Villain.
and yes, it works.
The front line of the Department of Farmland Defense. Pesky foxes...
What may very likely be the final update to this MOC. it's been fun to watch it evolve over the past 2 years.

He strikes from the shadows!
The six Toa Metru returned to the city of Metru Nui, intending to save the sleeping Matoran and bring them to their new home. Ambushed by Visorak spiders, the Toa Metru are mutated into Hordika ... half Toa, half beast! Can they overcome their new enemies and their own bestial natures in time to rescue the Matoran?
Toa Hordika Whenua has seen the Archives shattered and beasts of every kind released on Metru Nui. Now he must fight to save the Rahi from extinction. His tools can summon beasts from far underground, or charge up his Rhotuka earth spinner.

An infamously brutal and cruel Skakdi, for whom their home island was named...
More Bionicle characters because i can't think of a good name, inspired by the works of Buttloaf and using a modified version of a torso design by Vicent Steffens. Big fan of the mismatched Piraka arms and I wanted to do something similar here. Also wanted to use HF1.0 limbs because I got tired of hearing (and believing) that they were useless.
Juan finally after a couple hours n a couple more bottles of tequila, decided to get up out the chair and make his way into the saloon
just wanted to say thank you for all who FAVed that last picture. I had to delete it. this was actually the original picture its more clear again I have to deal with my phone instead of a real camera thx again
Looking back on the original version of this guy I honestly don't know what I was thinking. But I am so f*ckin' happy with this new version! I hope ya'll like him too.

Tamer of mighty creatures!
Pouks hunts only the largest and most dangerous Rahi! Using his Rhotuka bolo spinner, he entangles them in bonds of energy to bring them down. Fearless, there is no beast Pouks will not pursue and tame.
Not a very exciting MOC. but it was a fun warmup to break out of a dry spell

Lego model of the tracked vehicle that marked the transition from three-wheeled design (as inherited by the C. L. Best traction engines) to the classic "Caterpillar" design of the Holt Co. By 1925, the companies were merged to form Caterpillar Co.
The model features remote control drive and steering by tiller wheel, using a BuWizz receiver.
Happy Holidays TolerantAxe97!
MOC very deeply based on Man Hunter Karrax, Kishiaru, and a touch of The Apostate. I love this stuff to death, and I was jazzed to get him in our Secret Santa draw. He's an incredible builder, check him out if you haven't already!

Built for Bio-Cup 2022 round 1
Theme: Kaijune
Subtheme: Insectoid
I had a lot of ideas for this MOC that all kinda fell through and blended into what you see here. I'm happy with what I came up with even if it's a bit unfocused.
The Earth Father Papu, keeper of virtues, believed that programming alone would in no case be enough for a project such as Mata Nui. Designing Bio-Mechanical creations is but the first step, and what difference would it make if their heads were filled with only data and numbers?
Papu designed the concept of the Matoran destiny; he was sure that such a promise of purpose would make them much more dutiful than if they had been mindlessly programed to fulfill a task. He was the only Great Being capable of fully understanding how spirits worked and insisted that the Matoran Universe should be gifted free will and conscience.
Mid 1920ies single-cylinder hot bulb tractor. This is the solid rubber tire model used as road traction engine. The motor developes 12hp from one cylinder with 6.5l cubic capacity. The engine can be reversed, and will start in either direction. Preferred fuel is Diesel, but waste oil will do (please, don't try this at home). There's no gearbox, just a differential.
The sound of the piston moving in the big Lego cylinder is pretty close to the sound of the original Lanz!
I revisited the model because, finally, the dish 8x8 (3961) came out in red, which gives pretty exact front wheels.
LEGO model of flatbed canvas truck, including PF infrared remote control - in Minifig size!
Includes 1x mini-motor, 1x micromotor, 1x PF receiver, small 2C lipo battery.
IR signal reaches receiver through through gap in canvas.
Easy driving in Lego City!
