Built for the Space Jam contest. I was inspired by Fallout with it's common shot of the Wonderer and their Dog, except swapping the heads, and thus this atrocity was created. Fallout, Blacktron, and Scooby Doo, all mixed into one very normal build.

#LEGOSpaceJam2021

It’s been 30 years since the known treachery of the villainous Blacktron group, but their legacy has lived on to this day. The members are still up to their usual crimes, and aren’t afraid to boast their affiliation, from their hover cars to their clothes.

.

You can see the combination of the two Blacktron themes in the hover car design and decorations (Blacktron I), clothes (Blacktron I & II), and the landing platform as the base (Blacktron II).

.

I built this for #LegoSpaceJam2021, in the 12x12 vignette category.

At the Pizza Tron Mega-Factory, only the finest interstellar ingredients are used in the creation of our dubious delicious pizza. Accepting orders from across the cosmos, pizza production proceeds pragmatically, promptly processing personal parcels for delivery to each orderer's nearest [Pizza Tron kiosk] through a network of patented Pizza Tron Pizza-Portals. Our resourceful mechanized Pizza Tron employees allow the Mega-Factory to maintain an environment free of pesky terrestrial bacteria, and their flawless construction ensures mathematically perfect pies, every time.

Under the watchful guidance of the ophanim, humanity began to retrofit their religious architecture for a journey to the stars. Standing out among the locations the Theologianauts selected, the Abbey of the Dormition would eventually go on to prove itself in combat, armed with the compact Zion-Cannon.

The ophanim is attached to a tower behind the ship using a clear rod, and hangs forward over the ship to prevent any overhang beyond the 12x12 base.

My entry to the Carrier category of the Space Jam 2021 Competition

#LegoSpaceJam2021

My inspiration for these models is the classic LEGO theme from the mid 1990's - Ice Planet 2002

This image shows my carrier vehicle at the bottom. Think of the vehicle NASA used to use to get the Space Shuttle to the launch pad. It's 8-wheel drive with independent suspension, steering, motive power and lighting in each wheel unit. Each wheel is approx 24 studs in diameter using sever hundred technic dampers to create each tyre. Each wheel has 8 Power Functions Lights to illuminate the living/working compartments inside the wheel dome and to light up the exterior of the rover. 4 Power Functions M-Motors drive each wheel with another one for steering each wheel. Overall length of the rover is 133 studs currently but it will be getting bigger hopefully for shows later this year or next.

It is seen here transporting the Orbital Launch Rocket. The rocket itself is 157 studs tall (see it compared with a LEGO Saturn V) and has space inside for a large cargo bay, large fuel tanks made from LEGO water bottles and living and working space above. The cargo bay houses the IceCat-V tracked rover, ready to explore once it arrives at its destination.

The rover inside has caterpillar tracks that extend out and down once it's out of the docking back and ready to move. The folding tracks allow it to fit perfectly in the cargo bay for transport. Once it's on the ground it's powered by Power Functions M-motors using skid-steering like a tank. The cockpit has plenty of space for a couple of astronauts as well as sleeping/space-shower facilities. The central corridor runs down between the tracks and allows access to the hangar bay at the back where another smaller rover is waiting and ready to go out exploring.

The small rover is a 1-person unit, good for all terrains with multiple wheels to provide good traction and comfort for the astronaut. On the back of the rover is a control panel, ready to program and launch the communications missile.

The missile on the back is inspired by the missile on the back of the classic set Ice-Sat V from the 1990's.

My biggest fear since I was a child was alien abduction. The fear of the unknown and feeling isolated, especially away from earth, struck fear in me.

War between alien and humans!

I used flags to make the creek

Robots now do the work, well most of it, they still need humans to supervise! The robots teleport whatever whenever to whoever!
