This is the Self Service shop for my second Far Cry 3 moc. Next to it is the heavy flame gunner.

I am 80% done with the build. It is bigger than the first and a lot taller ;). I will try to finish it and post it before the weekend!

This fictional Brig was build in spain and served until 1715 in the spanish treasure fleet under the name of "El Dorado". Captured in a hurricane by jailed pirates under the lead of Cpt. Edward Kenway and Adéwalé which were supposed to be carried by the fleet to sevillle to execute them. Under Kenway, she was renamed to the name Jackdaw and became one of the strongest pirate ships in the seven seelas, with a peak of rediculous 56 canons.

I´m slowly approaching the end of the Naval Display that I started in 2024, the Japan Maritime Self-defense force. To finish it, I need a large ship to be the centerpiece of my Display, which is usually an Aircraft Carrier.

Therefore I decided to build the JS Kaga, a “Helicopter Destroyer” built by the Japanese Navy which is currently being upgraded into a full Aircraft Carrier with F-35B fighter aircraft.

The model measures around 1,4meters (3.3 feet), not my biggest LEGO ship but still a massive project. I´m estimating that I will need 500 2x4 tiles in Darl bluish gray for the main deck.

The A4 Condor, a single-seater Attack helicopter used by the UK/EFU. Primarily designed as a tank-hunter, it can be used for numerous other roles such as close air support and strategic target missions, thanks to it's heavy armament and small frame.

Armament: Twin rocket pods, M230 chain gun, air-to-ground missiles.

2024 is finally over! It´s now time to take conclusions of the Year.

This year I completed the Yugoslav Experimental Plane Projects and the Dutch Air Force (1940) displays that I had started in 2023 and I started two new displays, the Swiss Experimental Plane projects and the Japan Maritime Self-defense Force (JMSDF).

This resulted on the “usual” collection of 40 LEGO models that I like to average each year:

2 vehicles

9 others

My favorite Plane MOC was the Japanese Shin Meiwa US-1A flying boat and the Atago AEGIS destroyer was my favorite ship model.

The Mark 13 is a missile launcher developed in the United States during the Cold War.

It can launch the RIM-66 Standard Surface to Air missile, the Harpoon anti-ship missile and the older Tartar SAM.

It saw widespread used by many Navies, including the US Navy, the German, Dutch and the Japanese.

The Japan Maritime Self Defense Force installed the system on their Amatsukaze, Hatakaze and Tachikaze Class Destroyers being the first Area defense system of that Navy.

The system is currently being removed from service since it's now mostly obsolete.

Recently, a Japanese group on Facebook asked me to take a few more pictures of my Kawasaki P-1, so I made the iconic photo of two P-1s flying over Mount Fuji and a picture with the weapons that the Aircraft can carry.

The Kawasaki P-1 is a Maritime Patrol Aircraft, built in Japan for the Japanese Maritime Self-defense Force since 2007. In entered service in 2013 and so far around 60 airframes have been built.

This MOC was a challenge because the airframe is pretty much a civilian passenger plane adapted for Military use. But I didn´t give up and here it is.

The model has a series of features, namely movable flaps and elevators, internal bomb bay, retractable landing gear as well as the external hardpoints for missiles.

I decided to take a picture of my Italian "Regia Marina" LEGO Warships from World War Two that I currently have in my LEGO room.

From above we have the Battleship Giulio Cesare, the Heavy Cruiser Zara, the Battleship Vittorio Veneto, the Battleship Andrea Doria and finally below a Capitani Romani Light Cruiser.

I still believe that Italy made the most beautiful Warships of the Second World War.

The Soko G-4 Super Galeb was a small advanced jet trainer indigenously developed during the seventies in the Former Yugoslavia by SOKO to replace their older jet trainer, the SOKO Galeb.

It was powered by a single Rolls-Royce Viper and besides being used as a trainer, it could also operate as a Ground attack aircraft; for this role, it could be equipped with a GSl-23 23mm cannon mounted on a pod under the fuselage, plus four hardpoints under the wings for a maximum of 1200kg of bombs, cluster bombs and rockets.

It had a maximum speed of 920km/h with a combat range of 1300km. A total of 85 planes were built between 1984 and 1991 when the Yugoslav Civil War stopped all production.

Ready for fire

For couple months already wanted to build some command vehicle and here we go. I like how it looks.

Towed twin anti-aircraft gun, which is designed to combat low-flying targets. It entered service with the Soviet army in 1960.

2S19 "Msta-S" is a Soviet and Russian 152 mm divisional self-propelled howitzer. The 2S19 is designed to destroy tactical nuclear weapons, artillery and mortar batteries, tanks and other armored vehicles. This model is in 1/40 scale.

My upgraded versions of ural vehicles. Here you can see urals-4320. The cabin and wings of this model have been redesigned. This time it seems much more realistic for my opinion. This model is in 1/40 scale.

To finish my 2023 Main Display, the World War Two Regia Marina (Italian Navy), I present a MAS motorboat, the last “ship” of the group.

Capable of 45knots and armed with two 450mm torpedoes and one 13,2mm Breda Machine gun, they caused havoc amongst British cargo ships on the Mediterranean Sea between 1940 and 1943.

The MAS torpedo-boat were widely used by the Italian Navy during the War and they performed some of the most dangerous Military Operations during the War. Italian crews were extremely brave and courageous during the entire conflict, although British propaganda tries (even to this day) say the opposite.

Now I´m focusing on my new massive display for this year, the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force.
