I have been wanting to build another Yavin 4 MOC for awhile, especially one with a Y-wing (which is my favorite Star Wars vehicle). I decided to use Jerac's design for a Y-Wing because none of mine were turning nearly as nice as his design. If you haven't go check out Jerac his instructions are on Brickvault's website. I used his initial design then modified it to my liking. I wanted to make the base bigger but I ran out of tan pieces. I had so much fun doing this build and I hope you enjoy!

I finally got around to doing another Tatooine moc. I love how it turned out and had so much fun building this. I added a lot of fun details and easter eggs.
I built this MOC to go along with my new snowspeeder design. I built this in maybe a day and a half. This was a pain to photograph so the quality of this main photo is lacking a little bit. It is a pretty simple design. A lot of white bricks and some signature hoth builds like the turret, AT-AT, and some snow troopers. Hope you enjoy!
"A man requires but eight liters. A palm, then, equals five men. There are twenty palms out there—one hundred men.”
This is a relatively simple build. The actual scene from the movie is pretty plain, in that the textures are all smooth and tan. Don't get me wrong it is a beautiful scene. I added a lot of my own made up details and textures to try and break up all the tan color. I wanted to keep the build pretty small as well mostly because I do not have that many tan pieces. All around I am pretty happy with it. It isn't my best work and I was feeling kinda stumped on what else I could've added to it, but I still like it. I hope you enjoy!

This was out first build on LM. We had 15 h to build something that would ”stop the train”. We ended up in the top-2 spot which landed us in a duel for the win, and the highly sought after Diamond Brick…😜. Very proud of this build and happy with how it turned out. Stay tuned for more 😄.
It's official now! Me(in red) and my buddy Mathijs are one of the duos participating in Lego Masters NL/BE Season 3! Are you excited? We surely are!
Not sure if I will post all builds and stuff here, but I surely will on my insta @jaapbijl_
So give me a follow there if you want to see our adventure!
So yeah, this was one of the reasons why my absence from building was a bit bigger for those wondering :P
Greetings,
Jaap Bijl

This build took me around 11 hours to complete spanning over two days. I absolutely love this movie and wanted to build a scene using that awesome Bane figure. I also wanted to challenge myself and build some LEGO architecture I've never done before. That tan tumbler is was also a fun challenge to try out!

Since some years I started different attempts to create y a Yavin IV MOC, something like the never released playset of the Yavin IV temple from LEGO. Inspired by the excellent and lovely Yavin MOC from Hypolite Bricks - Abe Fortier I finally found a building concept to make it to an end. The outer walls are constructed from 5 different types of "large" 6 x 6 x 5 bricks used in different iterations and mirroring / rotations. The same technique is used for the snotted 6 x 6 plates for the front and top sides of these bricks. Other credits go to Brickwright, a modified version of his brilliant minifigure sized Y-Wing suits perfectly. Maybe you like the MOC. I'll build this in real for a local LEGO exposition in my homecountry Luxembourg next summer 2023.
A small group of Resistance fight the First Order for control over an old Imperial base.
I built this over about three weeks. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I'm still working on my photography skills and being able to get a good wide shot of my builds. It's massive in person and has lights on the bottom for lava. Hope you enjoy!
This was our 3 h build in the duel of the first episode of LM. The object was to show how half a pair of glasses was being repaired. Very happy with what we were able to put together in that short amount of time. It netted us the win and that meant we came away with the Diamond Brick 😄🎉.
I've been getting more into architecture recently and have been inspiring a lot of my builds off different types of architecture. This MOC is based off a building from Germany I came across by Walter Gropius.

Exo Force was one of my all time favorite LEGO themes. It was so unique and creative and unlike anything we had seen at the time. If I had the money I’d go and buy the entire wave if I could. I’ve been wanting to upgrade all the mechs and I finally got around to a couple. This is my first one! I love the orange. Hope you enjoy!
This was my build for May the Fourth! I wanted to honor the classic Star Wars Theme. Be sure to check out the time-lapse!

This (digital) MOC, as a counterpart of my Yavin IV Rebel Base, is a modular, imperial Tie Fighter Hangar.
The rendered images are composed of 3 modules of the hanger, the left one (the Entry) and right one (small Elevator) slightly changed. Each module has a base of 48 x 64 Studs (3 x 4 16x16 Plates) and are interconnected the classic way with pins. The pillars and walls themselves are also modular, connected by pins and can easily be replaced or exchanged with each other. A technique I used for my Republic Hangar and proven for the transport to many events.
My daughter June's cat Jacqui and the Ice Cream Maker are of course also present. ;-)
As usual I've been inspired by many great MOCers around the world. Credits go to swebricks (Star Wars Community Build 2013), Spacepilot3000 (Escape from Docking Bay 327, THE starting point when you build imperial walls), TheCreatorr (Death Star Hangar Bay MOC and of course to the epic MOCer Jerac (Middle section of his awesome Tie Fighter). And finally to myself (Republic Hangar).
I hope you like the moc and find and recognize some well known characters.
This is my sixth and final MOC for my Sinister Six build series!
This was a crazy hard build series to do but I'm really proud of how it all turned out! I hope you enjoyed all of the MOCs.

So…this is how our Legomasters adventure ended. Figured I’d share it here as well. A crazy experience that I couldn’t be more proud of, especially the story we were able to tell about using Lego as a way to handle everything life throws your way. 😊👍
A new wave is coming - and it debuts tonight.
There are some awesome people in the new cast - and I can't wait to follow along on their adventure. Good luck guys.

Commissioned by Fairy Bricks for the LEGO Masters-esque live-building competition at this past weekend’s Bricktastic event in Manchester, which was won by Steve Guinness and Gary Davis.
The 2x2 brick is in scale to LEGO’s own large brick builds, as is the rest of the minifigure. The torso and the arms in particular were a challenge to build, especially with the minifigures weird angles and proportions. The plinth/pedestal includes tiles for decorations showcasing contest and winners, and is adorned by statues of skrunkly characters.

This MOC took me around three days to build. It is based off the Mandalorian TV show, however, is not based on any particular scene, rather my imagination of when the Empire came to fight the Mandos hiding on the planet. I hope you enjoy!
This is a bit different than what I have recently been posting. I walk by houses like this all the time at home and I always love them. They look so cozy. I hope you enjoy!

This took way longer than I ever expected. I tore it apart about 3 times and the face went through many changes but here is my final version. And I promise it won't change. Its already sitting on the shelf.
Photo courtesy TVNZ2. Another of my contributions to the LEGO Masters NZ architecture mash-up for the first episode. The Beehive. Some closer details, but admittedly little janky in spots, getting those curves to behave was... a challenge. Think it worked fine on camera though .
A few WIP photos, some showing my brick-outline sketch I was working to.
Basically a MOC, with footprint size, advice and suggestions from Brickmaster Robin Sather of course. Usually along the lines of "make it simpler, you don't have time to do that"

Front facade complete, with the exception of a few tweaks here and there.
So far about 20,000 pcs (6400 hundred are just the dark red cylinders for the roof!)
Over the next couple of days I will be doing all the internal structure up to this point. I am designing it so that each of the sections connectors to a main technic frame in the middle. That should make the build more manageable and easier to move around if needed.

Didn’t really have a game plan when I started making these. The black one is loosely based on an old Buick, and the green is a hodge podge of reference images. But! Regardless of quirks, they can fill out parking spots well!
For the 7th episode and the semi-finals we were tasked with interpreting a Swedish song. We were pretty lucky with the song I think and we had a lot of freedom in what to build. The song was about reaching for the sky and never giving up no matter what anyone else says. When the camera was of the production also told all the teams to build larger for this challenge. Therefore we decided that a mountain would be pretty good and that the image of two people rowing up a waterfall against the stream would be striking, kind of funny, and a good fit for the song. Of course we added power functions and tried some interesting techniques. We built the mountain as a tall skeletal structure first and then we covered it in a rock "quilt" to make the surface be more natural and less "typical lego mountain." While not perfect I'm pretty happy with the end result and I might try something similar next time I want to build some terrain. I have a few projects in mind...
We are so thankful to God for his blessings to us! Creativity is a gift from God and we're so glad that we were able to share that creativity with everyone who watched the show!. We are beyond blessed and so thankful to have been on this incredible journey! Thanks for all the love and support that has been shown to us!
Built as a mini-collaborative MOC with my brother Steven to be displayed at one of our local LEGO stores at North Point Mall in Atlanta!
This was also a tie-in with out meet and greet at the store which was a huge success. Literally hundreds of people lined up to see us!
The main throne area was made by me, the giant seahorse and puffer fish were built by Steven and we shared making the rest of the details and scenes.
This was a very fun build and I think we would both like to revisit the underwater theme again sometime!

This was me and Björn's final build. We had 22 hours to build whatever we wanted, but it had to be BIG. We choose to adapt the Swedish lullaby "Mors lilla Olle" which is about a child, Olle, befriending a bear. Since the lullaby incorporated both me and Björn's names it was a pretty perfect fit. Our story was about Olle going out in the forest on a grand adventure, eventually growing hungry, cold and lonely as day turned to night. The moment he starts doubting the whole trip he hears a rustling sound from the woods. Out from the forest comes a big bear, equally as hungry, cold and lonely. They see each other and from that moment forward they were never alone again.
We wanted to convey the power of friendship and give our build this storybook feel. To really immerse the viewer we wanted the build to have a lot of interactive functions. The sky was built to rotate creating a day and night cycle, footsteps in the snow could be activated one set at a time through a "piano key mechanism," the roof of the cabin could be opened up and the bear could be puppeted.
Unfortunately we lost but I'm still super proud of making it to the finals and I think what me and Björn were able to build in the finals was something really amazing.
Tackling my first big original MOC in fine scale since the Atlantic.
Using a mixture of new techniques from Block Junction MOCs and album stalking, I’m trying hard to get my proportions down without too much compensation for r56 curves. So far it’s promising!
My teammate Leonard and I reached the semi-finals in LEGO Masters Sweden 2020. These were some of our builds throughout seven challenges. Photos by TV4.
Usually with my displays I like to include some weapons and components that can help explain the history of the theme of that display.
For my Portuguese Air Force display, I made a few engines that were used by the Aircraft, some of them quite famous.
1-The first engine is the American Allison J33 centrifugal-flow jet engine which was used on the T-33 T-Bird;
2-The second engine is the mythical Rolls-Royce Merlin which was used on the Spitfire and the Hurricane fighters;
3-The powerful Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp was widely used by Portugal on many different Aircrafts, namely the P-47 Thunderbolt, the Douglas A-26 Invader, PV-2 Harpoon and the Douglas DC-6.
4-The Wright R-2600 Twin Cyclone was only used on the Portuguese Air Force to power the Curtiss Helldiver bomber;
5-The General Electric J85 was another American engine which was used on the Northrop T-38 Talon Jet Trainer;
6-The General Electric J47 was used to power the F-86 Sabre; Portugal was the last NATO operator of this aircraft.
It´s important to mention that the engines aren´t all made to the same scale, some are larger than the real examples (like the Merlin and the R-2600) to better show and explain how the engine worked. The smaller engines are meant to be exhibited with the Aircraft models that I make.
Hope you like it! Don´t forget to leave a like and subscribe my Instagram page!
