Sorry for being away for such a long time. School's really busy, and I was thinking about what I could do with my flickr. Expect more small builds, with more details in landscaping and figs! I also made an order on BrickLink (finally :p), so I can make my builds better.
Suggestions, critique, tips and compliments are welcome, and enjoy my build!
Here's my entry for the third prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 contest, with the theme of fantastical (being defined as anything fantasy from before 1900). Overall, I'm super happy with how this build turned out. I love how my hummingbird design looks, and I also like what I did for the rotting log. Fun fact, this build also uses some of my favorite LEGO colors, those being dark green, dark azure, and teal, though unfortunately I couldn't get the teal to look as good as it does in person on this model. Anyway, hope you all like this build too!
You can see some close-ups here.
So this is a introduction to my Special Forces squad. It consist out of 6 men, all having a different role. I will change the heads and stuff later on, this is just a start. I think I'll also do a Russian squad, but I'm not sure yet.
Tell me what you think!
Here is my entry for the Through the Seasons category of the Summer Joust 2021, with my build depicting Kyle the Fisherman doing some fishing during the spring season. Overall I'm decently happy with this, most of it was built in a day. There were a few things I would've done differently had I started earlier but I think it turned out pretty good and I'm very happy with my rockwork after not having done any for a long time.
This was done in collaboration with:
Roanoke Handybuck: Summer
Jako of Nerogue: Autumn
Carter Witz: Winter
Taken in by Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett helps to train the tribe to take on the fierce Pyke Syndicate. After stealing bikes from a group of Nikto speed bikers, he teaches them to ride like a bantha which helps them in a successful heist to protect their lands. Earning the tribe's respect, Boba is then accepted as one of their own.

My entry for the amazing The Book of Boba Fett collaboration with the great crew of last year's The Mandalorian Season 2 collab! Check out all the other cool parts over at The Mandalorian Collab on Instagram!
Finally a new build! Well actually, this one isn't so much new, as I had initially started it way back in late 2018, but I finally began working on it again last month and completed it. This started as me just wanting to build something castle, and I chose to use sand green for the landscaping for some more muted colors. I ended up using the Tournament Knight CMFs for the figures, to provide a few pops of color. I'm really happy with the foreground of this scene, but less so behind the wall with the houses, as something seems like it's missing to me. But I just wanted to get this done and it is now, so I can move onto finishing up some other projects! Hope you all enjoy!
Here is a video showing some more behind the scenes/details.
Because I do nearly everything in 3s, this is the first MOC in a mixel-joint-based miniland plus series with heavy emphasis on color and emotion. The vignette takes up a ~32x32 footprint in a circle. Completed in March 2023. Only uses the following colors: Black, Dark Blue, Dark Azure, Medium Azure, Dark Bley, Light Bley, Light Aqua, and White. Won Best Vignette at Brickworld Chicago 2023. The Dino Tail addiction is real.
Here's my entry for the first prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2020 contest, with the theme of a lair. Doing the Batcave was my first idea for this, despite never having watching any of the Batman movies before (which yes, I need to fix), and it seems like a few other people had the same idea too. Anyway hop you like it, I'm fairly happy with it, the rocks could definitely be better but I like how the overall look of this turned out, especially for it being built in less than half a day!
We'll see if I end up having enough time to get any more of the days for this contest done, but regardless, check out the contest and see everyone's submissions in the RebelLUG discord, I guarantee there will be lots of great entries!
The thin line technique is something I first saw used by BBricks Studios.

Here's my newest build, and also my largest ever! This depicts a meeting between many kings and rulers in a sci-fi/castle/fantasy world. I had started this two years ago but just finally finished it this year for Bricks Cascade 2022. It's not my favorite build ever, but considering I rushed a bunch of it to get it done for the convention I'm still decently pleased with it. Hope you all enjoy!

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
Matthew 28:1-10 NIV
So this is where i worked on for the past 3years (on and of). Approximately 3000 hours and 250.000 parts later I present to you with great pride and incredible detail; Venice 1486 as it might have looked in the 15th century.
This is the first chapter of a total of 4, in which I'll take you into an adventure of Darion as a Master Assassin.
Let me know what you think 🙏
--------------------------------------------------------------
"Osservare" in the English tongue better known as Observing. By far the most boring thing about finding your mark, but absolutely necessary.
Meet 'Darion Aiulf da Fortebraccio' and his eyes and ears in the sky 'Gaita' an Italian barn owl. Darion is a Venetian nobleman, and to others unknown also a Master Assassin and former member of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins.
Abandoned by his brothers and mentor for disobedience. He now is a solitary assassin that seeks his targets through the signs of god. For his next mark, faith steered Darion in the direction of the Templar order. Who now have a foothold on Venice city grounds and even managed to get the newly elected doge 'Marco Barbarigo' on their side. Marco openly expressed his support for the Templar Order...
And so this is where our story begins!
Where other men blindly follow the truth, Remember, nothing is true.
Where other men are limited by morality or law, Remember, everything is permitted.
We work in the dark to serve the light.
We are assassins!

Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”
“You have said so,” Jesus replied.
When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor.
Now it was the governor’s custom at the festival to release a prisoner chosen by the crowd. At that time they had a well-known prisoner whose name was Barabbas. So when the crowd had gathered, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him.
While Pilate was sitting on the judge’s seat, his wife sent him this message: “Don’t have anything to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered a great deal today in a dream because of him.”
But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed.
“Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor.
“Barabbas,” they answered.
“What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked.
They all answered, “Crucify him!”
“Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate.
But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”
When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”
All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”
Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.
Matthew 27:11-26 NIV
The MOC series I'm most proud of is my Moments of Melancholy series: presented to you here together all in one place. In a way, it's my take on the #ColorWheel challenge. Started in early 2023 and completed June 2024. Displayed for the first time all together at Brickworld 2024. From left to right:
🔻 Birth and Rebirth
💛 True Contrite
🌳 Growing On You
💙 Die in Your Arms
💜 Rivers of Mercy
⬛ "Well Done", from Grief to the Coffin Boards
There were initially just three separate builds and no intention of it all to tell a story, but it's been a happy accident that I feel like it does now (vaguely) from left to right. It was a lot of fun to dream up different forms, shapes, and compositions to contrast the others as the series progressed.
Be sure to checkout my individual posts and reels on all of these builds. Thank you so much for all your support.
This early 15th century 'Caraval' carries the name 'Orion Star' and is used for the transport of goods along the Mediterranean trade routes.
In 1486 Florence and Venice had widely accepted trade agreements and benefit of each others reach within the ever expanding worldwide trade routes.
Apart from creating the shape of this ship, the sails and the color scheme, the real challenge was to recreate the symbol of florence; the iconic fleur de lis.
Personally, I think this worked out pretty well 😁
_____________________________________
Some background story;
I chose this type of ship because it fits within the time frame and the characteristics of the venice laguna of that time (not deep and many sandbanks).
The caravel had a stern rudder and a raised forecastle and sterncastle. Caravels had a typical length-to-beam ratio of 3.5:1 with a shallow draught. It was also highly manoeuvrable and fast. All of these characteristics made the caravel ideal for exploring unfamiliar waters and coastal shallows where larger ships might easily have become stranded on sandbanks or damaged by rocks.
Let me know what you think and thx for stopping by 🙌

The relict we discovered and brought to the temple recently has proven to be highly interesting. While its form looks organic at first, it was definitely artificially constructed. We did not dare to touch it, yet, but first analysis revealed it to be slightly warmer than room temperature. It seems to emit a slight glow at all times, which seems to be pulsating in a way. Research suggests it is at least a few thousand years old and some of the markings scratched into the outside suggest its has been involved in the Mandalorian wars to some extend. The most unnerving thing however is how it feels in the force. It almost feels… alive in a way. The force is in turmoil whenever it is around. My master and me are now preparing to meditate and grasp the traces it leaves in the force. Maybe this will be the key to both, past and future of the force.
Log entry of Padawan Jonastan Kirmund, one day before he and his master fell into a comatose force trance, which they have not woken from until today

I am back! I assembled this little vignette months ago, but only now got to take photos of it. More builds are on the way though, with a big one coming up mid march!

In search of a fellow warrior in armor, the Mandalorian arrives in the small town of Mos Pelgo, deep in the deserts of Tatooine. But what he finds is not a fellow Mandalorian, but a local hero and protector in a legendary armor as well as a ravenous beast that terrorizes the town.

My entry for The Mandalorian Collab season 2 and a build I had a lot of fun with. I hope you like it and stay tuned for more party coming soon, build by some of the best builders over on Instagram! Btw who spots the embarrassing little mistake I made in the representation of the scene?
Now it is time to turn to our main objective: Capturing a Night Sister! Their most capable sorceresses will most likely gather in the temple to conduct a ritual to aid their defenses. Advance into the sanctuary, stop the ritual and capture a specimen! Make sure not to fall prey to their tricks! Their foul magic will be no match for our firepower!

Here it is, my part of #dathomircollab and probably my biggest build this year! This was a lot of fun to build and what better day to upload it, than my birthday! I hope you enjoy it and stay tuned for the other parts of the collab soon releasing on Instagram.
„Did we get on the wrong shuttle? This feels an awful lot like vacation.“ Linx chimed through the com link. „Tell them when we’re back at camp, maybe they can get the breakfast buffet ready.“ Bruiser groaned, half amused, half annoyed. He was walking a few meters behind me and his armor shone in the morning light as the sun slowly rose above the endless fields of Dantooine. This indeed did not feel like the action packed, dangerous mission command had sold it as. The dark acolyte the Legion had encountered on Rhen Var was supposed to hide here somewhere, but as long as he wasn’t a shape shifter that had turned into a bird, there was no sign of him anywhere. Every once in a while I took a look through the scope of my rifle, but there was nothing to see apart from a few mice and rabbits among the grass and the occasional bird flying overhead. This was by far the most boring patrol we’d done in ages, though, admittedly, with one of the best views. Something told me I’d miss it, once we were in action again, but right then I’d gladly had been shot at by a battalion of droids, just to escape the monotony. „Alright boys, let’s get back to camp. Breakfast should be ready any time now.“ „Any idea what’s on the menu today, Sarge?“ Linx laughed, knowing full well it’d be the same tasteless ration cubes as every day. „I’d say Roba sausages and Mon Cala algae salad.“ Bruised was in a good mood after all. „I’ll have a Nerf steak and fried eggs then.“ Linx answered. „And you, Sarge?“ I hesitated for a moment. It had been a while since I had some solid, tasty food and for a second I could not remember the taste of any of it. „I’d love some chicken.“ I finally chimed, pointing at one of the birds nearby. „Lucky you, ration cubes all taste like it anyway.“ Linx laughed, though, for a moment we all wished the cubes really had a flavor to them and be it only chicken.

My foot injury has healed and I finally managed to finish my entry for mission 2.1 of the 253rd Elite Legion. Not sure, whether I can whip up the other parts of the mission in time, though. Anyway, I hope you had a tasty breakfast today and can enjoy a view like Dantooine this summer somewhere.
This was a detail of a house model in the Italian section of Miniland in Legoland Windsor, UK. I really liked taking shots like this one that have an uncanny level realism at first glance. The weather on the bricks also adds to the effect.
A fantasy collab MOC by Inthert and Waffles built as an homage to the bygone LEGO Elves theme.
While both of needed a break from building spaceships, we decided to go for something colourful and out of the ordinary. Isabelouise helped us with the concept and colour scheme, and suggested the idea of using the recent CMF Acorn Boys and Night Protectors as “fantasy elves” instead of minidolls.
As this idea had the potential to wow audiences of all ages and interests, we displayed this collab at Bricktastic Manchester and Reading Brick Show, where it won the hearts of many. The finished build is two halves - the Acorn Tree by Inthert and the cliff outpost by Waffles
Both are inspired by local coastlines and tropical seabeds, as well as fantastical elements.
Special thanks to Catherine for providing minidoll pieces, and Tim for the dragon and other animals.
What was only supposed to be a series of 3 models, spun into a total of 6. This is my 4th build in my "Moments of Melancholy" series. While all the others had some sort of direct inspiration, whether a song or a piece of artwork, this one was just off the dome.
Only uses the colors white, light bley, dark bley, black, red, dark red, and coral. Model started in August 2023, finished in May 2024, and photographed in March of 2025. The top petals use ~10 sets of the dragon wings from set 70653 Firstbourne (Part # 38765 on Bricklink).
About time I build a classic ship from Star Wars. But I had two goals in mind:
1. Make it perfectly minifig scale, no matter how big or how small.
2. Use the most unconventional LEGO pieces and techniques to get the shapes and proportions without delving into “illegal” territory.
Needless to say, I think I nailed it. Measuring just under 22 studs long, this matches up with the canonical length of 6.9 metres or 21 feet.
As for the parts usage... I think you can see for yourself. There are also some old rare bits that cost me more than I anticipated.
General Victoria Bonum, patrols the surface of LV-4273. Her and her squad stand on the edge of an oasis, a spot of color in this desolate world. The battle had been fierce, but none of the RCSN troops remained; well remained alive. The Doves of War were victorious once more, as they so often were.
This depicts a combination of the final design, and my original concept for the Dispute on LV-4273 collab collab for Bricks Cascade. For almost two years I’ve been wanting LEGO to produce Queen Watevra’s crown (part# 39262) in brown. I knew it would work perfectly for palm tree trunks. When we were discussing designs for this alien planet glowing pink goo in a desert landscape was the leading idea. I wanted to add small oases with lime green grass, pink flowers, and pink palm trees. Time and budget cut lead to only pink flowers surviving and the oases dropped. I really wanted to see my original vision come to life, and to even see if my tree design would work. So here it is an oasis on LV-4273 featuring pink palm trees with white trunks.
Rock Raiders Badger Mole
Here is my tribute to one of my favorite Lego themes growing up. I've always been a fan of massive 6 wheeled vehicles like the M-Tron Deep Core Magnetizer and thought that the Rock Raiders needed their juggernaut of a mining vehicle equipped with two huge drills, a massive laser (an upscale of the og laser from the sets), and defensive gun turrets to ward off dangerous rock monsters. The huge sloped turbines were upscaled from the original 2x3 Dark Turquoise Rock Raider slopes. It has a crew of 6 (two rear gunners, two drill operators, a laser turret controller, and driver).
Things don't always go as planned... Originally I wanted to show off a render of this in a cool lit cave using Cinema 4D as I usually do and show the process in another episode of Digitally Assembled. But no matter how powerful a machine one might have (and I truly do thanks to Puget Systems that is superior to any other machine I've ever used) there comes a point when you hit a wall with software capability. At 13,091 parts it is hard on its own in Bricklink Studio, but when exported/converted to fbx to be brought into Cinema 4D that equates to literal millions upon millions of polygons to the point where things are nearly unworkable.
All this to say- I want to do a proper render of this some day, but for now this is what I'll share until I can crack that formula for massive builds in C4D.
If you are a Rock Raiders fan, let me know what you think and please do share!
Special thanks to Simon Liu and Peter Carmichael for the helpful feedback while designing this.
There is no standstill, there is movement.
There is no home, there is the road.
There is no destination, there is the journey.
There is no monotony, there is wonder.
There is no guide, there is the Force.

Today I noticed that all my builds so far this year have exclusively been for challenges, collaborations, contests and RPGs. I feel like I’m putting a lot of pressure on me when I build these days. So, today I seized the opportunity to build something just for myself again. After watching chapter 4 of The Mandalorian yesterday, this little peaceful build came to mind, including a droid, kind of similar to that seen in the episode. I hope you like it!
The Village of Thornefeld is a collaboration between Cole Blood (Hildigrim Took), Jake Hansen (Mountain Hobbit), Timothy Shortell (Classical Bricks), Grant Davis, Eli Wilsea (ForlornEmpire), and James Libby (Legomania) displayed at Bricks Cascade 2020.
The collaboration spans a total of nine 48x48 baseplates (3x3). I built the 2 front baseplates along the far right edge of the village, with the bridge, stream and house. Jake built the baseplate in the back right corner, directly behind my section, Grant built the plates to the left of mine, Tim built the two front baseplates along the left side, and Eli built the baseplates behind those. James helped out with various details at the convention, including minifigures, food items, and other things that really brought the village to life. I'm really happy with how this turned out and hope you all enjoy it! You can find the rest of the pictures in the following gallery: (LINK) and on the other builders' photostreams (they are all tagged).

Built these yesterday to start off the year and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. They were inspired by this, and my desire to use the sand blue cylinder piece for a long time, and while they're taller and bigger than I had initially been envisioning, I like them for the most part. Hope you guys enjoy them too!
The Airborne Weapons Platform B1 (AWP-B1 for short) was an internationally used military fighter aircraft used throughout the Unifying War between 2312 and 2329. Its hollow wings could be equipped with a wide range of useful tech and weapons ranging from sensor array over communication antennas to missile launchers. Initially shipped in a bright yellow color and featuring a big sphere like cockpit, which was reminiscent of an insect eye, a subtle hint to the reconnaissance function of the craft, it was quickly dubbed „Banana Bug“ by soldiers all over the world. Due to its high speed and cheap maintainability the craft remained in service even after the conflict and was later used in smaller interplanetary campaigns by the United Earth Forces.
_____________________
I always wanted to build an aircraft in a retro sci-fi style, like it is found in series like Cowboy Bebop. When I stumbled upon the two boat pieces and the half sphere cockpit, push came to shove and a few unstable connections resulted in this colorful ship. I hope you like it as much as I do!
Here’s a build from the middle of May, this was originally built for RebelLUG’s monthly 2-hour build challenge from May (join this month's upcoming challenge on the RL discord!). That month the challenge was to use the 2x2 hinge plate in a build, which I used for some of the curtain rod. I also got to use some of all the many fun minifigure accessories LEGO has made over the years, which was quite enjoyable. Overall I'm quite happy with how this small build turned out, hope you all like it too!
A severe de-modification of Inthert 's N-1 Starfighter that I had on my desk just when I watched the new Book of Boba Fett episode yesterday. Seeing as it was easy for me to make it grey and greebly, I just couldn’t resist.
Cathlyn had seen several weak security systems, but this one was plain ridiculous. It almost seemed like the Centuri wanted to be attacked. There was literally a single switch that controlled all of the power grid for this facility. And if they were so kind to install something like this, she would certainly use it. Cathlyn had decided that a hunt for her target Jorik Kavas was pointless. She knew Zayne would be just as quick to find him as she would be. That was a risk she couldn’t take. She had to be the first to find Kavas. So, she had decided to make him come to her. The disabling of this facility was certain to attract his attention, so he would leave his hideout and become an easy target. He had always been a man with an urge to control and inspect, thus he would definitely want to check this, admittedly serious, security failure himself. Caitlyn flipped the switch. The room went dark immediately. Then an alarm went off. Caitlyn looked around and was startled by the sight of the doors closing. This shouldn’t be happening. She drew her sword…

Even though the Struggle for Klegon RPG kind of ended a few years ago, I decided to bring back my character Cathlyn the Hunter for this small vignette. Who knows, maybe she will show up every once in a while in the future.

A small and simple vignette, partially inspired by Assassin's Creed Origins. Finished this a while ago, but only now had time to upload it.
The Sith Inquisitors were merciless hunters, hand picked by Darth Vader and specialized for one single prey: Jedi. They hunted down any Jedi that had managed to escape Order 66. Hiding under masks, nobody knew who they really were. However, there were often rumors about them being former Jedi themselves, that had fallen to the dark side.

A closer look at the Wanderer and R0-XI featured in my recent vignette. Weirdly enough, this is my personal favorite photo from this build.
Here's an improved version of an older build of mine, the TS.1. I've actually had this one built for a few years and had displayed it at a few Bricks Cascades but had never posted a photo of it on here. I'm much happier with this updated version, the main change was redoing the angle of the head to make the attachment more secure and better designed, which I was able to accomplish. Hope you guys like this version too!
Also, as a side note, as of today I've been on flickr for 10 years, which is really crazy to think about. It's been a joy to be part of this online LEGO community for so long, I've interacted with so many awesome builders and seen so many great builds throughout my time on here. I haven't been nearly as active on here as I once was but I still love LEGO and continue to do stuff with it, and don't plan on stopping. Hope you guys like this updated version of the build I posted on my 5th flickr anniversary and will enjoy the stuff I have coming up, I've got some exciting builds in the works!
View a video of this build here.
I knew I had to build something for the 10th anniversary of Droneuary and decided to do an homage to the older style of drones, which I hope comes across here. Things such as the color scheme, the little arms, the use of older pieces, and the amount of colors used were all intentional with trying to achieve that classic drone look. Specifically, this one was inspired by this drone and that builder's other stuff too, but a lot of the older style as a whole was also the inspiration behind this. I’m pretty happy with how it came out, hopefully you all enjoy it too!

I'm super happy to present my part of the Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga Collaboration! The collab depicts several levels from the beloved classic video game, leading up to the Release of The Skywalker Saga game later this year. I had the honor to build the first level of Episode II, Discovery on Kamino, one of my personal favorites from the game! This was a great chance to finally use my Jango Fett figure, again, one of my favorites from my collection. I hope you all like the build and make sure to check out the other parts of the collab here.
