I made this fig today and I'm really happy about hoe it turned out. I don't know his FULL story but I know a big part of it. I aldo used Legolas head for this one and modifed lightsaber pieces. What do you think? Comment below! :)

This was taken in a place called Paradise (and it is), north of Glenorchy, a small town about half an hour out of Queenstown. Several scenes from Lord Of The Rings were filmed in the area. As soon as I saw the peak of the dome shaped mountain bearing down as we drove closer, I knew what I wanted to do with the image. It had to have a door.
Now it does ;-) The door is actually one from an old Monastery near Melbourne so I thought it was the perfect match.
As always, I worry when I put up my photoshop creations, knowing I am not particularly masterful but in this case I feel I achieved the vision I had while traveling along that lonely road, imagining Gandalf, Legolas and the crew disappearing into the Mountain.
Finished Tilda Swinton's The Ancient One. What do you think? And I'm remaking my Doc. Strange. I'll use Legolas face but the set will arrive the next month so... What do you guys think?
Out for a hike on a dreary day at the Putangirua Pinnacles, Cape Pailliser.
The Pinnacles are a tightly packed cluster of ancient gravel spires in a forest park. The 'badlands erosion' of Putangirua Pinnacles is a spectacular landscape feature attracting many visitors to the southern Wairarapa.
When the Aorangi Range was an island, 7 to 9 million years ago, screes poured gravels onto the coast, much as they do today around Cape Palliser. The Putangirua Stream has exposed this ancient layer of gravels to the erosive forces of rain and floods. Where cemented silts or rocks within the gravel beds prove more resistant than the underlying sediments, spectacular individual pinnacles or “hoodoos” are formed.
The eerie scenes in The Return of the King as Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli ride along the Dimholt Road to meet the Army of the Dead were filmed against the surreal backdrop of the Pinnacles.

Another fig based on a Johnny Depp character. This time: Edward Scissorhands. This is one of my best figures ever in my opinion and I really enjoyed while making the hair. I used Legolas face and Wolverine claws. What do you guys think about this figure? Comment below.

As promised, I made a marvel figure. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Similar to m Kitty Pryde I made a while back, This is a posed figure. He articulates the same as a regular Minifigure, but only really works in the pose in the photo.
The left leg was cut off at the heel and connected with wire to another leg and covered in ProCreate. The right one is a woody leg cut at the heel on an angle with a 1x1 glued on to get that angle on the heel.
The arms are done with the same technique, except his right hand is from a flashlight figure, to appear stretched larger.
The torso is done the same way, but using a sucker stick instead of wire.
The head is Legolas, with the mouth tweaked slightly and the left brow painted a bit higher. The hair is Sandman.
Overall I think this turned out great. What do you think?
Also, this is my entry to 100and500SCContest, since I haven't seen anything like this before.

Well, as you may have noticed, I used the Legolas head for Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands, Luke and now for Han. That's because I ordered some heads from Bricklink. Well, here's my custom Lego Han Solo from the Return of the Jedi. I know the shirt color is not completely accurate but I didn't want to make another torso for him. (It's the one I used for my previous Han figure) So, what do you think about this figure? Comment below! :)

While hiking along the Hoh Rainforest's Spruce Nature trail I entered a tunnel of dank, dark and encircling overhanging boughs. Ahead I spied this bright, appealing circle of light pulling me onward. Thought perhaps Legolas or Tauriel might be around the corner….
The bright vibrant variation in the green hues and cave-like setting tickled my imagination, and trigger finger. Hope you find it interesting and appealing as well.

So, I decided to finally make Ego, the father of Star Lord. So, I think that my favorite part of this minifigure is the freaking hair. It turned out great and accurate in my opinion. This is kind of a hard minifigure to make. And, yep! The face is a Legolas face xD I tried to make it look like Kurt Rusell and I think it does. the cape and the robes around his neck/chest weren't easy to make. With this scene I end my portion of this epic journey. It has been long a difficult but you can be sure it is not yet over! I new builder will be revealed soon to carry out this story to it's final conclusion. I for one am slightly relived my turn is over, but am very grateful for the adventure.

Mûmak of Harad - Lord of the Rings
Finally finished! This build took me around 4 months to finish and I'm happy to have it done.
Mumakil or Oliphaunts were huge elephant like beasts that featured prominently in the battle of Pelennor Fields in the Return of the King. Ive built this referencing the movies version the best I could follow, along with some creative liberties of course.
I'll be displaying this at the Christchurch Brickshow in July if you would like to come and see it in person.
After being saved by Arwen, Frodo wakes up in Feudal Rivendell. Legolas is teaching Aragorn elvish sword techniques, Gandalf the Grey Wanderer is having a chat with Daimyo Elrond, and Gimli is simply taking a rest in preparation for the council meeting.
This build depicts Rivendell set in a feaudal Japan setting. Built for MELO 2025 where the challenge was to mix Lord of the Rings with a specific time period.
(215/365) Banner on the wall of a hostel in Killarney advertising The Shire Bar inviting people to get Legolas (legless - get it ha ha). I so wanted to add in the missing apostrophe. The colour of Kerry GAA team shirts is gold & green so the yellow bench & window frames with the green walls didn't surprise me. The suspended bicycle did HBM & HWW!
