This is how to begin your journey, with impact. After escaping at last from 4 Privet Drive, Harry's adventures in the Hogwarts Castle begin...

I have recreated my favourite scene in the series, where Harry mysteriously travels through a wall to get to the iconic Platform Nine and Three Quarters. I've included the standard features of the scene, such as Hedwig, Harry's owl. I, however, also added my own little twists to this famous image. To create the impression of speed, I have used two fire streaks from the trolley's wheels, and incorporated Ron's Rat, Scabbers, escaping from his cage. Lastly, on Harry's luggage, I have added his initials 'H.P.', using various SNOT techniques. Originally, my focus was obviously on Harry, and his trolley. But, I was inspired by the complex potential in representing the wall and it's arch, and therefore put my attention towards that more thoroughly. I hope you like my model!

Macku, tasked by Turaga Nokama to hide a Great Kanohi Hau, set sail and stumbled upon a strange formation rising from the ocean. She was struck by a large tree that had stubbornly decided to grow upon it, with roots wrapping around the hand-like structure. If such a tree could grow and thrive here, she knew it would a perfect protector for the mask. She placed the mask in the tree's trunk, to await whoever was fated to find it. Her quest completed, she found herself returning to the strange island often, simply to relax in solitude with her fishing rod, day-dreaming about a certain athlete from Po-Koro who didn't know how to swim. Maybe she could offer him lessons...

For the LEGO IDEAS BIONICLE contest. I wanted to do something a bit different instead of my usual Toa builds as I'm still vibing with the more nature build stuff I've been doing lately. With brickfair and some family obligations I didn't have a lot of time, but I'm still pretty happy with how it came out. My goal was a more concept art style build that had some early BIONICLE nature and machine in harmony and MNOG slice-of-life vibes. And as Maku/Macku was my first or second BIONICLE set ever, it felt appropriate for her to star in the MOC. Especially since wow did she get the short end of the stick later on.

(I know it's not a palm tree, but the pun was too good to let slip from my grasp.)

The body of the camel is integrated into the window bricks, extending into the rest zone of Leona. Inside with food and water to supplement the energy of the body. When the hair of the camel gradually grows, there are also scissor to trim.

During the journey, Leona can open the front window to blow air, and there is also a back door to enter and exit.

Because of Leona take care of camel carefully. Therefore, camel can store a lot of energy. Finally, they fearlessly crossed the Sahara desert to complete this impossible task.

Integrated into the bottom plate to make the whole work more complete.

Space: Chase for the Brick - I decided to enter the LEGO Ideas contest: "You're the Final Piece" where contestants are to create a picture/art with Lego in 4 categories. I chose space. It was an opportunity for me to try some more techniques in Cinema 4D, Octane, and use the powerful asset engine, Quixel Bridge. This was completed using Bricklink Studio, Mecabricks, Cinema 4D, Greyscale Gorilla Lightkit Pro 3, Octane, Quixel Bridge, and Adobe Photoshop all done on a Puget machine.
