My entry for the second round of the RogueOlympics. This time the the theme is "Adventure". And as always in the Olympics you are only allowed to use a max of 101 parts.
I had a lots of ideas this time. And I also wanted to show another Little Robot. But after all I chose a pun which works better in English than in German though: |Adventure = Apeventure
I built a little Indiana Jones scene with 92 parts - and an ape of course. For me Indy was the one I wanted to be as a school kid. I saw his films and I also had the LEGO sets later. He was the one who made me interested in history and forgotten cultures. And of course finding treasures.
Hope you like this small MOC.
On monade the third round will start. If you are interested in participating, just visit www.RogueBricks.de
You will find all informations there in English and German.
Second Round of Iron Forge.
Challenge: Use the parts 4522 (Tool Hammer/ Mallet) and part 4006 (Tool Spanner Wrench/ Screwdriver).
Need to check out the entries of the other participants. You also should do that. Maybe with this Bumblebee Drone?
Third entry: Bumblebee Drone
Stretchy's Domino Rally paradise
My contribution for the current round of RogueOlympics. Topic of the week: Reaction.
I immediately had to think of my kindergarten days and the first self-constructed experiments in which a reaction was in the foreground of the fun: A domino rally.
Again I built in a Little Robot, this time Stretchy who seems to love this fun too. 88 parts in total.
Second Round of Iron Forge.
Challenge: Use the parts 4522 (Tool Hammer/ Mallet) and part 4006 (Tool Spanner Wrench/ Screwdriver).
,Check this out, mate. I am (almost) done for today.'
8th entry: Chess figures
New entry for the 101 elements challenge on RogueBRicks.de
Topic was ,time'.
A little obvious, but I let the cuckoo fly.
Entry for the final round of the 101 parts challenge on RogueBricks.de
Topic this week: Elements.
But don't use more than 101 parts in your MOC.
I did a pun and built an ELEphant who comes out a ceMENT mixer. So we have ELE & MENT.
I also made this entry for the contest "Childhood Classics".
Some of the figs I also used in my MOC.
From left to right:
(Buccaneer) Captain Efraim Longstocking, Mrs. Pryssilius, the two police inspectors Kling and Klang, Pippi Longstocking and her best friends Annika and Tommy Settergren.
I also put Mr. Nilsson and her 'unnamed' horse in picture. The Horse has a name in Germany: Kleiner Onkel, which means 'Little Uncle'
Some of the objects I used for this figbarf are references to some of the scenes: a bag with gold, the treasure chest, the message in a bottle (or a bottle lemonade from the lemonade tree), a coffee party cake, a medicine bottle, a lollipop, ...
Second Round of Iron Forge.
Challenge: Use the parts 4522 (Tool Hammer/ Mallet) and part 4006 (Tool Spanner Wrench/ Screwdriver).
5 hammers and two wrenches are used in this one.
,Spaces are hip, they said.'
10th entry: Hovercraft - to bring me to the next round.
Elements - This was my entry in tonight’s Moore Camera Club monthly competition for February for the theme of Elements (28/02/22), after much thought and resource I found out that Lego Builders refer to the Lego pieces as elements so I thought I’d submit something completely different that no one else would have thought of doing for this theme, my only concern is about the term of Lego Elements and the other photographers think my entry was completely off topic, needless to say I came second to last (11/12), but I had great fun in setting up this shoot with the image also telling a story and for a first attempt at this style I’m very pleased with the result.
MOC created as part of New Elementary 2019 Parts Fest #1.

Some days ago a lovely friend sent the little robot Sporty to me. As a thank you I built a bike for the robot and named it after her. This one is also my entry for the first round of the annual contest "RogueOlympics" on www.RogueBricks.de were everybody can participate the next 8 weeks. Just check the site if you are interested.

Sporty is from the theme Duplo Explore: Little Robots. And there are more of them :D

8th and last round of the RogueOlympics, the 101 parts challenge on the German RLOC RogueBricks.
This time the theme was "Upside Down". I had some ideas about it but constantly had Pirates Of The Caribbean and "Up Is Down" in my head.
This time no Little Robot involved and I needed only 61 parts.

The #digitaldesign of the #LEGO #gnome was completed with some slight tweaks to the sculpt of the face and hair, and all LDD pieces in position. I planned the model to only use #legoelements already on hand- only needed to order a couple of #LEGO pieces for the #iPhone !
.
With that, the model design was finished and ready to be built! I’ll share a couple of those shots next update and that’ll do it for this model! #staytuned

Today’s Chopping Block:
#76166 Avengers Tower Battle (2x)
#76131 Avengers Compound Battle
#76123 Outriders Attack
#76142 Speeder Bike Attack
#76144 Hulk Helicopter Rescue
And #76192 Endgame Final Battle
Breaking down all these sets to recombine the elements into a modular compatible Avengers Tower MOC on a white base plate!
These sets are a treasure trove of figures, but the exaggeratedly large vehicles and thin Avengers Compound sets are taking up too much shelf space for me.
Huge fan of the Avengers Tower set, I almost don’t want to part it out, but can always rebuild in the future!
Look forward to sharing progress on this, for however long it takes. As always, I don’t plan my builds in advance and only use parts available in my collection (exception of the new base plate).

Got tired of digging around for bricks so I created this “LEGO Element wall” as a reference during my building if I get stuck what part to use. When I’m thinking of ideas, it also helps to be able to see what kind of LEGO elements exist, especially the modified types & technic. I added the BrickLink part numbers to make it easier when ordering parts.
These elements are the most popular/common LEGOs available now. This list is not in any particular order and is not complete. You can visit bricklink .com for complete list
(Note for those who order from Bricklink: Lego and Bricklink part numbers are different)
