I really like how this came together except for the color of the background. The original background was yellow but somehow it ended up looking white. :/

Batman: The Red Death!
Approximately one more month until I begin my second year of teaching! Been tinkering with Lego on and off as I enjoy my summer and also picked up a bunch of interesting knockoffs from AliExpress. I think this one's made by a company called World Minifigs. The plastic qualiy is terrible but I think the molding and print are 100% original!
This is not his Galaxy. This is not his jurisdiction. It’s not his duty to enforce justice among these stars.
However he swore to fight evil in Brightest Day and Blackest Night and few beings are more evil, wicked and repulsive than the First Order.
When Hal Jordan sees a group of the pathetic servants of the Tantrum Knight vexing the innocent and helpless population of a remote planet he promptly intervenes.
He is a Green Lantern and no evil shall escape his sight.
“Hey look- one of the Stormtroopers shouts- it’s that clown from the other universe! That Al!”
“I think he’s called Hal.” Replies another Stormtrooper.
“Who cares? That clown is armed with a ring ha ha!”
“Ha Ha! And it’s the most powerful weapon in their universe! Ha Ha!”
“Such a weak universe! A Ring! What can you do to us? A proposal? Ha Ha!”
Hal channels his indomitable willpower in his power ring and show them exactly what he can do with it.
A fist shaped construct smashes a Stormtrooper as the will powered katana takes care of the Stormtrooper approaching from behind.
What follows it’s a sequence of frenzied action and when the smoke clears the First Order forces in the area are no longer in the condition to fight.
Today Darkness has been defeated and the servants of the Tantrum Knight learned to beware Green Lantern’s Light.
It’s always a pleasure to work on Green Lantern projects. Those “energy construct” effects are fun and satisfying hehe to make :)
I made the “fist shaped” construct using Bionicle parts and then I added the light effects.

Hal is concerned about the last events.
The servants of Kylo and his master Jar Jar may be silly and incompetent but they do possess the assents, and plot devices, to bring suffering among billions of innocent persons.
He is not worried about his own Universe. The First Order wouldn’t stand a chance if they tried to invade it. But countless of other Universes among the vast Multiverse does not have to power to repel the servants of the Tantrum Knight.
The easiest thing to do would be to ignore the matter. After all they are not his Universe, the one he is meant to protect.
However he took an oath. In the Brightest Day, in the Blackest Night no evil shall escape his sight.
He can’t let them to kill and enslave innocent persons. He don’t want to and he won’t allow it.
It does not matter if most of his Green Lantern Corps are busy within his own Universe. He does not matter if he’ll have to ask the help of old friends and rivals.
He can’t protect every universe but he can make sure the evil servants of the wicked Kylo don’t leave their own universe.
He is Hal Jordan and the First Order will beware his power, Green Lantern’s light…

I added a HDR effect to make the image tone a bit “darker”, especially the green/blackish “clouds” around Hal (they are barely noticeable, though) and that could have changed the tone of the background image a little bit as well.
I know I already featured Green Lantern very often recently but when I saw this NASA image I thought it would have been perfect for Hal :)

These days nearly everyone talks about Deadpool movie box office records and so I want to make a tribute to the original concept that inspired the creation of Deadpool: Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke.
It is not a secret Marvel was somehow inspired by DC Comics’ Deathstroke character. No offense to Marvel or Marvel fans (I like Marvel too :) ) and I’m not saying the are copycats lol :)
It’s largely known Deadpool is inspired by Deathstroke, then they added the jokes and “he can talks everyone to death” thing to make him a bit different lol :)
Since I really like how Deathstroke character evolved in the current “New 52” comics I decided to make this photo as tribute to the character :)
The sunset in the background is a photo of mine as well. One of the many sunset photos I took over the years :)

The meeting between two of the largest egos in existence is meant to turn into a fight.
When Tony Stark and Lex Luthor end up in the same universe the personality clash is inevitable.
They started showing off their intellect capabilities but soon the dispute moved to, well, a technical application of their Brick Mech know-how.
So Tony calls in his Hulkbuster and Lex his armored suit.
“My Mech is more imposing!” Shouts Lex
“You’re pathetic! You are not even supposed to have a Mech! You should have a power armor but the Lego designers decided to build a mech so they could have a set to sell!” Replies Tony
“That’s because they are smart guys and they recognize my intellectual superiority! Look at you! They give you a thing that is not even in scale with the Hulk you should bust- continues Lex- Oh and your Mech’s gorilla-like arms: ridicule!”
“My Mech does not need to be large because unlike you I don’t need to compensate!” comes Tony’s remark.
“We both know your Mech is smaller simply because the designers know you are such a small person in all the things that matter!”
“So tell me Lex: do you plan to annoy me to death?”
“I thought that was your super power, Tony.”
I think they can go on forever hehe :)

It's taken me one hell of a journey to complete this awesome model designed by Marcos Bessa, finally it's complete (sort-of...)
NB:
-I have replaced 2x '4634091 - Rim Wide 43,2X26 W 6 Hol.Ø 4.8 (Light Stone Grey, Rims) with '6078892 - Rim Wide 43,2X26 W 6 Hol.Ø 4.8' (Black, Rims) due to them being black on the Tumbler.
-2x '6022949 - Wheel Bearing Back' on the left hand side of the Bat-Pod are absent as I forgot to order two more :P

After his Stormtroopers’ encounter with Hal Jordan (www.flickr.com/photos/133750589@N08/27855428965/in/photos...), Kylo decided to deal with the situation himself.
“So you are the Green Scum! The one who calls himself Green Lantern: I hate light! I’m darkness! I’m the great, greatest Darkness! Or was it Dark Greatness? I never remember it… Anyway, I’m the *beep* Kylo Ren, Master of the Knights of Ren, Grandson of Darth Vader, Slayer of the Annoying Scoundrel, Hater of the Space Bigfoot, Champion of the Supreme Leader Jar Jar…”
Hal usually enjoys a good talk but he has more pressing matters to deal with than the deranged speeches of the Tantrum Knight.
“So you are the wannabe Galactic Villain.” He laconically replies.
“How dare you! I’m the *beep* Kylo Ren! I will cut you in half with my Lightsaber and I will throw you in the core of our new Weapon of Plot Destruction! I will…”
“You may try.” Hal interrupts him.
“Did you hear me? I will cut you in half!” Says Kylo.
“Did you her me? You may try.” Replies Hal.
“I heard you, Green Scum! I’m talking to my Lightsaber! It doesn’t work! I can’t ignite it! Vader! Help me, Vader! Vaaadeeer!”
“Ok, who cares?- Kylo continues- I can use my super, mega Force powers to turn you into green ashes! Did I already tell you how powerful Kylo is? He is the super badass, you know!” Now he starts to refers to himself in third person.
“I have neither the time nor the desire to baby-sit wannabe villains.” Hal cuts him off.
He channel is indomitable willpower in his Green Lantern Power Ring and creates a hammer shaped construct and smashing Kylo to the ground.
When the Tantrum Knight comes round Hal is already dealing with those more pressing matters.
Another failure to add to Kylo’s records.
It always a pleasure to work on Green Lantern photos. It’s very satisfying to create those constructs :)

Armed with an indomitable willpower he protects the Galaxy from unspeakable threats.
His name is Hal Jordan and in brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape his sight.
I wanted to depict Hal piercing through darkness and I think this image shows it.
I decided to add some green to the shadows to represent the “Green Lantern’s light” fading away the darkness as Hal fuels his power ring with his own willpower.
I hope you like it :)

The battle for the control of the seas has begun.
The evil Ursula is on a power trip and she decided to be the only rightful rules of the Seven Seas.
However this time her machinations does not put her against a little mermaid but against the King Of Atlantis and Aquaman has no desire to indulge her deranged plans.
Their tridents clash as the fight moves to a deserted beach. Aquaman dispatched Ursula’s goons with ease but evil octopus does not care about it. She is one of the seas’ most wicked minds and what can go wrong here? Well many things actually.
“I demand your obedience, insolent Atlantean!” She yells.
“The only thing you are in a position to demand is to be the main ingredient of an octopus salad.” Arthur replies.
With a swift movement of his Trident he shatters Ursula’s one and then he puts an end to the evil creature's plans of aquatic dominance.
It really seems today’s menu will have an octopus salad, after all lol :)
The battle for the control of the seas… was a quick one but the wicked octopus didn’t stand a chance against the mighty Aquaman.

A new protector of justice has entered the galactic scene.
The Series 15 Laser Mech is here and he soon became a very good friend of Hal Jordan.
They are a great team and no evil shall escape their sight.
The Laser Mech has also a visor with magnification lenses so it’s truly difficult for evil to escape his sight :)
I wanted to get a different lighting effect but I was not very lucky this time. Anyway I hope you like this photo of Series 15 Laser Mech teaming up with the greatest Green Lantern. :)

The First Order Intelligence (I know, First Order and Intelligence sound weird one next to the other) informed Kylo of the existence of a powerful being called “Dark Side”.
Of course is the mighty Darkseid from DC Comics but since it’s actually pronounced dark side, First Order Intelligence made the wrong spelling. They always make things wrong.
Kylo is furious, once again. Even though he does not believe this being is powerful (there is only powerful being: Kylo Ren. When he gets kicked it’s just a script conspiracy) he wants to deal with him.
How dare him to call himself Dark Side! He, the mighty Kylo Ren, is Dark Side itself and this impostor will pay for his insolence.
He finally locates this Dark Side and full of rage he confronts him.
“Hey! You badly sculpted statue! Come here immediately” He commands.
Darkseid’s servants want to kill this silly guy on the spot but their master is quite intrigued by this clown and he plays along.
“Are you the being who calls himself Dark Side?” continues Kylo.
“Yes, I am” reply Darkseid, still intrigued by this strange specimen.
“I’m Dark Side itself! I command the Dark Side of everything and you must bow before my great, great greatness of grandness of… well I lost my train of thought but the point is: I’m the most powerful and everything bows before me!” States Kylo.
“Hmm- says Darkseid to his servants- this is a peculiar kind of idiot”
He grabs Kylo and slams him on the ground several times.
It appears Kylo has been kicked again. It is surely another script conspiracy lol :)
I tried to recreate the reddish light of Darkseid’s Apokolips and it turned out to be very dark at first so I had to make some modification to make Kylo more visible.

Poison Ivy values plants above anything else. She would do anything to protect them: in fact she is constantly at war with pollution and she doesn’t mean it in the figurative sense.
She recently found a barren place, polluted by the evil schemes of the First Order (more likely as result of some Kylo’s tantrum if you ask me) and she decided to bring the local vegetation back to life.
The plants are growing nicely and Ivy is checking their well-being when she spots a terrible danger.
Jar Jar Binks is coming!
The Clumsy Creature is far more calamitous than any pollution. He is a form of pollution himself and a one of the utmost harmful kind.
Ivy knows it and she won’t allow Jar Jar to harm her beloved plants.
Before the Clumsy Creature can say “Heyo! Greensa redhead lady! Mesa here!”, Ivy “summons” a vine to greet him.
Ivy knows she can’t kill him. Jar Jar’s plot armor is too powerful but at least she can teach him a lesson.
“Stay away from my plants! You, disgusting thing!” She yells at him as the vines entrap him.
The Clumsy Creature will back to action soon but for today Ivy’s plants are safe.

I love Red Hood and the Outlaws, both the New 52 run and the Rebirth run, even if I wasn't crazy about Starfire's characterization at the times in the New 52 run.
Jason Todd/Red Hood is mostly based on his New 52 look, with some other elements from other depictions of the character, like the silver strand in his hair (which I wish he still had). The Starfire is the ordinary Lego Starfire but with a different hair piece that's been modified with paint to look like her DC Rebirth hair. As for the Arsenal, he is custom printed and ordered from X39BrickCustoms.
Exactly one year ago I had the "genius" idea of the DCSG. After a whole year we're still pumping steam, and I've got the give most of the credit to my great staff. I'd like to now go ahead and give a tribute to each one of them individually:
Sam (The_Lego_Guy)- The DCSG really wouldn't have gotten anywhere if it weren't for Sam. You see, Sam and I had know each other for a while before the group was made, so I quickly offered him the role of admin on day one. He gladly excepted my offer and soon he was throwing out ideas to help get the DCSG to it's highest level. Still today, Sam is always ready pitch in whenever he's needed. I can easily call him my right hand man.
Chris (Supremedalekdunn)- Like Sam, the DCSG wouldn't be as largely know as it is today without Chis. His expert writing skills always blow me away every time I read one of his issues. He is quite possibly the staff member to draw the most attention to the DCSG, simply from his writing. If I were to every leave the group for some reason, Chris would be my first choice for my predecessor.
Kenny (Block Bro)-
Even though he doesn't write his own series for the group, Kenny's still on top of things related to the DCSG. He's often got great suggestions waiting to be heard by the staff, suggestions that I would regret not to follow.
Brandon (Filmgrm)-
The staff and I were relieved to see that Brandon had returned to Flickr yesterday. He had always been the most active in the group, uploading an issue at least once a day, in fact usually two.
Levi (MrMinfig)-
Levi's really a mix of everybody. Hes got great writing skills, uploads often, but above all he's just a really good friend.
