🇬🇧 The theme of the Dakar Rally holds me tight. This time I was inspired by the buggy of the Argentine racer Sebastián Halpern Dakar from the German X-raid Team. In some ways, I differed from the original to make creation fun for me, but the result is a beautiful essence. What do you think?
I really enjoy building economically and quickly. Some passages were really challenging. When I finished the inner tubular frame and found that a third spare wheel would fit in the space above the engine, I was completely excited. The buggy is very compact and packed with details that provide a really beautiful space on this scale.

My work for the last three days is again inspired by the Dakar Rally. Because I support all fighters who take part in this most demanding car race, I pulled something from everyone. The chassis has a central tube, which is still used today by the legendary Tatra trucks, which have won many times in Dakar. The overall concept is a mixture of several cars. Aleš Loprais Dakar Live, which shared very detailed photos of the internal construction of their Praga Lady, allowed me to better understand how the tire pressure control system works. The design is further inspired by the Iveco truck from the BIG SHOCK RACING and the cars of the Valtr Racing Team and Buggyra Racing. These teams are doing great and it is very beautiful to watch their hardships.

🇬🇧 I developed this racer before the holidays and because I developed a completely new wheel suspension for it, including steering the front axle, I had a hard time saying goodbye to the work done. I finally finished the car this weekend so I can introduce you to the "Fresh" Quattro Formaggi / 14-wide Lego MOC. The front hood hides the front axle steering system, which is coupled by a cardan shaft to a lever in the rear. The rear suspension is independent. The opening door fits exactly and copies the aerodynamic shape of the bonnet, which widens slightly at the rear. Lots of beautiful details are included in the interior, including the roll cage, pedals and levers for sequential shifting and the handbrake. I love this car, so may you like it!
🇨🇿 Tenhle závoďák jsem rozpracoval ještě před dovolenou a protože jsem pro něj vyvinul úplně nové zavěšení kol včetně řízení přední nápravy, jen těžko jsem se loučil s rodělanou prací. Tento víkend jsem auto konečně dodělal a tak vám mohu představit "Fresh" Quattro Formaggi / 14-wide Lego MOC. Přední kapota skrývá systém řízení přední nápravy, které je spřaženo kardanovým hřídelem k páce v zadní části. Zavěšení zadních kol je nezávislé. Otevírací dveře přesně doléhají a kopírují aerodynamický tvar kapoty, která se v zadní části mírně rozšiřuje. Spousta krásných detailů obsahuje i interiér, včetně roll cage, pedálů a páky pro sekvenční řazení i ruční brzdu. Tohle auto miluju, tak ať vám chutná!

🇬🇧From the beginning, I designed the Fresh BX T1 + ("Blessed Xmas") as a special for the Dakar Rally. I have built several cars on this topic. My great inspiration last year was the Hunter model, which was developed for the BRX racing team by the British Prodrive factory. From the photos and videos they shared during the year developing the new Hunter model, I studied the overall design of the car, the sophisticated tubular frame and roll cage, the carbon pilot capsule, the 3L V6 engine and especially the fascinating body design. I finally transformed all this and much more into my own Fresh BX T1 + model within 4 nights.
It helped me a lot that several of my previous models, such as "Supay" or "Child of the Sea", were not cars and I was able to verify some of the procedures that were essential for me when creating the BX. At this point, I would like to thank the designers, whose work is a liberating inspiration for me, and friends with whom I was able to share the entire construction process to the finished model.

Mou velkou inspirací byl už vloni model Hunter, který pro závodní tým BRX vyvinula britská továrna Prodrive. Z fotek a videí, které v průběhu roku sdíleli, když vyvíjeli nový model Hunteru, jsem studoval celkovou konstrukci auta, důmyslný trubkový rám a roll cage, karbonovou pilotní kapsli, 3L V6 motor a zejména fascinující design karoserie. To vše a mnohem víc jsem nakonec transformoval během 4 nocí do vlastního modelu Fresh BX T1+.
Velmi mi pomohlo, že několik mých předchozích modelů jako „Supay“ nebo „Child of the Sea“, nebyly auta a mohl jsem si na nich ověřit některé postupy, které pro mne byly zásadní při tvorbě BX. Rád bych na tomto místě poděkoval designérům, jejichž práce je pro mne osvobozující inspirací a přátelům, se kterými jsem mohl sdílet celý proces stavění až k hotovému modelu.

My great inspiration for the last few days is the Dakar Rally, which is full of fantastic personal stories, technical art and beautiful and photogenic Arabic nature. I follow the overall events and especially the Czech crews. The "Shrek" car, driven by pilot Martin Prokop and navigator Viktor Chytka, has become my conceptual model.
The scene I created is called "Hard Impact" ☄ and follows the impact of the car after a long jump on the front right wheel. Replacing a flat tire is another common misery. I wish all the crews good luck. 🙏

🇬🇧 Shark is my eighth Dakar Rally car, which is a grateful source of inspiration for me. This time I drew a lot from the model of the SRT Rally Team, which already impressed me with its design on the welcome stage. Due to the fact that I was not able to obtain data for accurate scale modeling, I extracted only the essential elements from the freely available photographs. This created a brand new car. However, its internal structure clearly has the most accurate logic of the internal arrangement, including air intake to the engine and exhaust pipes. The suspension this time was created in collaboration with Dariusz Sędziak, who inspired me to make changes while preparing the instructions for my SSV Maverick. This model is a new maximum for me, which I am able to achieve on this scale, and its construction was extremely fun, full of research and new discoveries.

Tentokrát jsem hodně čerpal z modelu týmu SRT Serradori, které mne už na uvítacím podiu zaujalo svým designem. Vzhledem k tomu, že se mi nepodařilo získat podklady pro přesný scale modelling, vytáhl jsem si z volně dostupných fotografií jen esenciální prvky. Vziklo tak zcela nové auto. Due to the fact that I was not able to obtain data for accurate scale modeling, I extracted only the essential elements from the freely available photographs. This created a brand new car. However, its internal structure clearly has the most accurate logic of the internal arrangement, including air intake to the engine and exhaust pipes. The suspension this time was created in collaboration with Dariusz Sędziak, who inspired me to make changes while preparing the instructions for my SSV Maverick. This model is a new maximum for me, which I am able to achieve on this scale, and its construction was extremely fun, full of research and new discoveries.

🇬🇧 The theme of the Dakar Rally holds me tight. This time I was inspired by the buggy of the Argentine racer Sebastián Halpern Dakar from the German X-raid Team. In some ways, I differed from the original to make creation fun for me, but the result is a beautiful essence. What do you think?
I really enjoy building economically and quickly. Some passages were really challenging. When I finished the inner tubular frame and found that a third spare wheel would fit in the space above the engine, I was completely excited. The buggy is very compact and packed with details that provide a really beautiful space on this scale.

🇨🇿 Téma Dakarské Rally se mne pevně drží. Tentokrát jsem se inspiroval buggynou argentického závodníka Sebastiana Halperna z německého týmu X-raid. V určitých ohledech jsem se od předlohy odlišil, aby pro mne bylo tvoření zábavou, ale výsledek je krásnou esencí. Co myslíte?
Moc mě baví stavět úsporně a svižně. Některé pasáže byly opravdu náročné. Když jsem dodělal vnitřní trubkový rám a zjistil, že se do prostoru nad motorem vleze ještě třetí náhrandí kolo, úplně jsem zajásal. Buggy je velmi kompaktní a nacpaná detaily, které v tomto měřítku poskytují opravdu krásný prostor.

🇬🇧From the beginning, I designed the Fresh BX T1 + ("Blessed Xmas") as a special for the Dakar Rally. I have built several cars on this topic. My great inspiration last year was the Hunter model, which was developed for the BRX racing team by the British Prodrive factory. From the photos and videos they shared during the year developing the new Hunter model, I studied the overall design of the car, the sophisticated tubular frame and roll cage, the carbon pilot capsule, the 3L V6 engine and especially the fascinating body design. I finally transformed all this and much more into my own Fresh BX T1 + model within 4 nights.
It helped me a lot that several of my previous models, such as "Supay" or "Child of the Sea", were not cars and I was able to verify some of the procedures that were essential for me when creating the BX. At this point, I would like to thank the designers, whose work is a liberating inspiration for me, and friends with whom I was able to share the entire construction process to the finished model.
