Quick little photo showcasing one of my favorite recent builds. Guess the adventurers are out and about, having an adventure without some of their gear

Been wanting to tackle this scene forever. Finally got all the peices to put together an appropriate Indy, and 'borrowed' bricks from the Lost Tomb set (7621) for the background.

Really happy with how this one came out. Now if I could only get my hands on the Temple of Doom set.

My entry for the 12x12 vignette category for Summer Joust 2022 contest.

Jumping back to medieval times, a Lego forestman is in love with a lady from the castle. After a secret meeting on the balcony, where he shows his love with a ring, he has been discovered by the guards.

While trying to escape, archers are aiming at him. Some arrows missed, but some hit him in a soft spot...

Here's my 3rd contribution to the 2025 Rogue Olympics.

The renovations at the LEGO store didn't go as planned.

Those Yellow truck tiles came in handy here. Made with exactly 101 parts. The prompt was "Backwards".

I wanted to try my hand at Microscale.

I've had my mom's old homemaker sets sitting in an old ice cream box for a few years now, thinking for the longest time that I should do something with it. That's when I saw the minecraft honey tiles and knew I had something special. At first I thought it could be fun to get some scala dolls and get some cool fabric based clothes but after ordering them I realized the scale was a tad off. The homemaker dolls naturally went better with the scale of the kitchen and, to me at least, they do look pretty cute. This kind of became like a remake of set 263 so now in retrospect maybe a blue floor would have been better but this was really fun and I have some more old homemaker stuff so I think it would be fun remaking some of the other old sets too.

Emperor Palpatine sends his best squad to retrieve a Sith artifact from an ancient tomb lost in the jungle.

Here's my figbarf entry for Brickscalibur, Farmstead Figures category, and Colossal Castle Contest, Have a Peasant Day! category.

A set of 5 nomadic farmers, a baby and a number of animals are traveling in the countryside, crossing a shallow stream.

It was my first time building a figbarf, I hope I didn't add too many unnecessary stuff around the minifigures.

I'm quite happy on how the minifigs turned out.

I didn't have any wheels for the cart, so I brick build them. I think the tree looks good too and I managed to add a spider net piece, in which they are carrying fishes.

Part E of my Farinworth Street build. Decided for this section to build it in a 32x32 frame base instead of my 16x32. This section was the most challenging due to the elevated ground and river.

After many successful missions, The Cyclone Force is sent on morak to meet Admiral Robb and protect him during his passage on the planet.

The Brick Monument is my entry for the 8th and last round of RogueOlympics 2023. This round is themed "icons". The brick itself is built quite complicated because I tried to meet the original proportions of a LEGO brick as good as possible.

Après avoir acheté sa barque Roddrick décida de la rénover avant de partir en mer. Il se trouva donc un endroit tranquille pour commencer son travail de rénovation.

After several successful missions, the Cyclone Force is sent to a planet under Imperial control where rebels have been seen. After a quick confrontation the Cyclone Force regained control of the area.

A car with a very personal charm. I like the appearance, so I decided to make it. This time I used a 7 wide and 6 wide crossover design to present this F150. , Both front and back end use 7 wide, I hope you like it

While the Blood Iron assassins mostly struck their targets in their homes and rarely engaged in open combat, they still utilized a variety of vehicles. The backbone of their activities were aircrafts called Blades. The name Blade stem from both, the Blood Iron’s affinity with swords and the peculiar silhouette of the aircraft. It consisted mostly of two enormous engines and the thin main shaft on which they were mounted. While not heavily armed or armored, the Blade was perfectly suited for the Blood Irons, because it could get them to their target quickly and back home even quicker. The craft could carry two Blood Iron Assassins, who hang from the main shaft in hammock like cockpits. In case of emergency those cockpits could be detached and functioned as a kind of escape pod. Different kind of pods could be attached, some featuring weapons like machine guns and rocket launchers. Besides that, the craft featured elaborate landing gear, necessary to support the enormous weight of the engines, when not in flight. Of course, these crafts were only seldomly seen by anyone, as the assassins usually got away before any of their targets or their guards even noticed their presence, only hearing the faint roar of the engines as the craft vanished into the sky.

Here's a vehicle for my faction, the Blood Irons, for round 2 of the Figbarfcentral and Infernolug #scififactioncontest

This was a joy to build and worked out just as planned from the first concept sketch to the final photos.

Stay tuned for more builds related to the Blood Irons in the rounds to come!

In accordance with the previous style preset changes, different shapes were added again, and the construction method was also changed.

Got a GoPro today and the more I played around with it, the more this image kinda popped into my head. Neat little camera. Not sure what I'm going to do with it just yet, aside from dressing it up as a GNK power droid.

Build for this year Iron Builders but unfortunately it didn't count.

The Cyclone Force is a secret squad created in the same things as the Clone Force 99. These are clones made more efficient through experiments but this time the Empire has made sure to keep them under control.

They have an important place in the execution of Order 66. Emperor Palpatine tasked them with eliminating dangerous Jedis or those with great potential.

For their first mission, the Cyclone Force is sent to the planet Aldhani where a child Jedi with great potential is supposed to be hiding. Once on Aldhani, the Cyclone Force begins their hunt.

[Mission Log 000, Sergeant Sakana]

No matter what they say, you can never trust intel. This lab should have been an easy target. Single layer bio-hazard doors, only two back-up systems for the alarm and no more than 20 clankers on the first levle, my shab. We almost ran out of thermal wire after the third heavy blast door and we had to take out the main generator to stop the alarm a fourth time. And as for the clankers, there seems to be a whole battalion down here. Anyway, orders are orders and we will see this thing through.

„Open Circle Command, this is Blue Squad, we cleared the first level. I repeat, first level, all clear!“

After years of not participating in any RPG group, I decided to give it another try and apply for the 253rd Elite Legion. I am curious what will come out of it and how active I'll be. I am probably most excited to write some clone wars era stories again, especially, since I will try to write them by old canon rules, in a Republic Commando kind of style. Let's hope I get accepted.

This time I went back to the Roman Empire and Roman Republic for the annual year challenge on www.RogueBricks.de

I built an arena where gladiators fought. These gladiators were armed combatants who entertained the audience in violent confrontations with other gladiators, wild animals like lions, and condemned criminals.

From left to right I built modified figures: a modified retarius, a hoplomachus and a murmillo.

Second Round of Iron Forge.

Challenge: Use the parts 4522 (Tool Hammer/ Mallet) and part 4006 (Tool Spanner Wrench/ Screwdriver).

Recently, I started to re-start the idea of making sports cars. This time I chose to make works for a period of time, and constantly modify them to make the overall shape more streamlined and exquisite.

My entry to the 12x12 Vignette Category for Summer Joust 2022.

I was originally going to make this for the Gradients Category but i had to change course when I realized I didn't have enough green bricks.

Really happy with how this turned out! Incoroprated some new build techniques like using the cheese slope pieces sideways to create cool floor patterns.

Here's my first entry in the Summer joust 2023 contest in the 12 x 12 Vignette category.

I had a different shot planned for today, but some bricks I was awaiting ended up not arriving. Oh well, hopefully tomorrow.

I set out with this shot not really knowing what I wanted to shoot. All I knew was that I just finished building this TIE Striker and I had developed a big crush on it.

I toyed around with different angles for a bit, and just when I thought I was finished I got the idea to try something symetrical. Turned out to be huge pain in the ass trying to get everything lined up, and at nearly 3am, I think my eyesight started to go.

Hopefully I got close enough.

To achive the shot, I ended up building a base for the TIE Striker which required a counterbalance to keep it from tipping over. In front of the TIE I placed an LED flashlight and covered it with some soft, foam material.

When shooting, I held a second peice of the foam right up to my lens, gently moving it through the exposure.

In lightroom I cropped the image to re-center things. Then bumped up the glow of the... whatever the hell those things are called that the ground crew is holding. I used radial filters to create an extremely sublte glow and then also tried to take down the reflection of my camera & tripod in the back of the helmet (oops).

Not sure if any of this worked, but it's late, and I'm tired so it's done.

Thanks for looking and have a great day

Shortly after first appearing out of nowhere, the Blood Irons soon became well known among the people of the galaxy for their merciless assassinations and horrific executions. However, most people only saw them as a minor threat and felt safe, as long as they resided on prosperous planets with high tech security systems. That only changed when the Blood Irons carried out an assassination on Kent Gerrit, a wealthy businessman, residing on the garden world Niwa. The planet of Niwa served as a luxurious retreat for anyone in the galaxy, who had made a fortune and wanted to enjoy the finer things in life, amidst nature, never worrying about work ever again. Gerrit in particular had made his fortune selling weapons of war to both sides entangled in the conflict that had wiped the Blood Iron’s home planet from existence. While knowing the group would eventually come for him, he still considered himself safe on the garden world and refused to be transferred to a nearby military garrison, a favor offered by one of his former customers. This false sense of safety prove fatal when the Blood Irons intruded his domicile. A massacre ensued, in which most of Gerrit’s security personell fell to the blades of the assassins. Strategically taking out the security first and leaving their actual target to wait in despair, the blood irons left Gerrit to be the last one killed. Rumor has it that he died cowardly, begging for mercy, as the Blood Irons crude justice was served. It is said that the leaves of the garden world have been stained with his blood ever since.

Here's my entry for round 3 of the #scififactioncontest by InfernoLug and Figbarfcentral. While I couldn't include my vehicle, The Blade, because of its size, I tried my best at keeping the faction well represented in the color scheme.

Another one of Poe's X-Wings bites the dust in The Last Jedi.

Last week’s nsx camping car gave me more ideas. I want to make some different designs and design with exaggerated and unique shapes. I plan to design in this direction in the future.

So I chose volkswagen T1 for the design. The front part made me feel very troubled. How to build a more stable way, the coordination of the shape, also increased the trailer settings, and the overall uniqueness improved a lot.

A companion/rival for the swan I built a while ago. Not 100% accurate, but I think it captures the general features of a Canada Goose.

I was hoping to be able to make this just using leftover parts from my deer that I made from the Creator fox set(s), but sadly it couldn't be done.
