Jabba's lifestyle proved to be a very unhealthy one. All those parties, feast and no physical activity have made him to gain so much weight ( he already had a good amount of it lol ) he cannot even enter his own sail barge. Of course he blames some shrinking technology his enemies used against the barge :)
This is the first photo of my Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar project. I plan to post each day a photo featuring one of the contents of the Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar :)
I made several other version of this photo: with warmer tones, with different contrast, alternative lighting etc.
If you are curios and want to give them a look you can find them in my blog:
brickseven.blogspot.it/2015/12/advent-day1.html
The first photo in the post in the same then you can find the other seven I made :)
Since posting all of them here would have been impractical (too many of them to post at the same time ) I decided to post the other in the blog. If you look at them and see one you like more than this one let me and I'll upload it as "Alternate version" :)
May the Brick be with You :)
When I saw this weapon in the advent calendar, for some reason, it made me think of one of the funniest and most creative "Lego" contacts I have on flickr, the mighty Karf Oohlu:

From then on, I had no choice: it had to be operated by a monkey.
As we're all preparing for Christmas, buying presents, gettign ready to eat a lot and party, let's not forget that some people just won't get any change in their hard lives on that day.
N'oublions pas, au moment où nous préparons Noël, que nous achetons des cadeaux et que nous nous préparons à faire la fête, que certains n'auront pas la chance de fêter quoi que ce soit à Noël.
Day 4 - Jousting dummy

Oh how I love (and collect) many things.... but today I would like to highlight three things that make Lego more than just a hobby, but rather a way of art appreciation.
1. Lego Castle
2. Lego Advent Calendars
3. BrickArms Chrome
The Lego Red Lion King (yay go Reds!) is slightly customised with different arms and the additional epaulettes. He came in The 2010 Lego Castle set 7946. I previously photographed him with a BA Chrome Dadao in Nu King.. I mean New King.
His Queen came with the 2010 Lego Castle Advent Calendar set 7952, which I thought was going to be Lego Online Exclusive, but a local toy store had some in stock.
And their fancy swords... they are fancy aren't they? BrickArms Claymores.
