It looks really good!

Getting there was fairly tedious, even for someone who enjoys tedious hobbies

Here’s my take on BrickMax’s light kit-

What you get:

A remote, instructions, a bag of loose what appear to be legit LEGO, 18 individually wrapped lighting elements, wires, circuits, and a battery pack. Batteries not included.

Instructions are printed very clearly and with easy to follow photos.

Experience:

There is immediate satisfaction in lighting the horse carriage, so that’s a great start.

The process of lighting the Blacksmith building felt disjointed until the last few steps in the lighting process. Never had issues with putting LEGO over the lighting elements, but I did struggle with wrapping wires to get them out of the way. The tree was a rough time for me as the original build, without 6 wires streamed through, was not the most stable. The battery boxes are also the wrong size but modified to work, which is weird but not an issue.

The majority of interior has a decent amount of wires exposed, as does the back. So this is a case of a ‘camera-friendly side’ and a ‘back’.

The wires also diminish the ability to take the floors apart, which I assume is a given.

Then there’s the last couple steps, and it finally ties it all together. Once the battery pack was plugged in and I hit the remote’s ‘on’ button my jaw dropped. “It looks really good!”

TL;DR- was a pain, I don’t enjoy tinkering with wires, but instructions were clear, product was adequate, and it looks really nice when finished!

Thank you team at Susengo for sending me the kit and the opportunity to try lighting up my bricks!

This one was not filtered with the blue plastic.

I must say that photographing objects is not my main thing but this is inspired by tubes.'s work.

Sean Tubridy's work.

The Classic Space explorers have discovered an ancient relic, some kind of gigantic display screen emblazoned with a fruit.

So naturally, they had to build something to house and protect it!

I decided to build something practical for a change, and I have to say, this little stand has come in very handy so far! I'd recommend trying out a little practical project like this, it's good fun and an interesting challenge.

Pulling out the Lego Star Wars sets and displaying them individually was the best I could do, instead of trying to fit all of them on top of the long table.

A companion/rival for the swan I built a while ago. Not 100% accurate, but I think it captures the general features of a Canada Goose.

I was hoping to be able to make this just using leftover parts from my deer that I made from the Creator fox set(s), but sadly it couldn't be done.
