My model stands in her braces that are held apart by (removable) metal rods. These were on this set of appliances when I purchased them. I had to make new rods as they were lost by the previous owner. Whoever needed the braces in the past must have required extreme control of their legs. These braces have been entirely refurbished with all new leather and size 6 heels and also have lower leg length adjusters. These Braces are for sale. This view shows the night braces with the legs held together. Since these are in the early stages of manufacture, I have not decided how much additional metal needs to be added to achieve total immobilization. As of now they are only connected by two removeable barrel bolts at the knee bands. I suspect that I will need to add a bar connecting the sandals across the front of the platform and possibly an additional bar connecting the rear uprights when these are expanded to full leg length. A center bar will be added to the calf cuffs that will run between the legs, a pair of double buckled unlined straps will be attached to secure above the knees. The center bar will continue up to the upper thigh to which a pair of metal bands will be fitted. Heavy, padded cuffs with one inch buckle closures will be riveted to the bands. This "night brace" will immobilize the both legs as well as the ankles and feet. PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT as I am curious to the attraction to braces and this type of bondage. Rear bars are a little too long for my model to be able to bend her knees all the way back without the uprights digging in to her skin. They need to be trimmed. This type of device would be perfect for a modified hog tie heels to ankles, feet together. Attachment points can be added for ease of use. The sexy 4 buckled sandals have her feet and ankles strapped beautifully, imprisoning them with white patent leather. The heavy leather cuffs with their straps pulled tightly are secured in place. She tries to flex her feet but they won't move, she can only wiggle a few of her toes, the sandals are too snug. She then tries to move her ankles but strains against the double buckled cuff which encircles her lower leg. She looks at the devices placed upon her and gives up, the wide 4 strapped calf cuffs are overwelmingly restrictive. The only movement she can muster is a slight toe out as her calves are bolted together. Little does she know that in the next few days the front of the sandals will be connected by a metal bar and extensions will be made to brace her legs together entirely. White KAFO braces, strapped securely to her legs, are locked in place. No flexing of this girls knees are possible while encased in these appliances. She wears quarter strapped platform sandals mounted with full plate stirrups to spring loaded ankle joints. These braces do allow her tiny ankles to flex but not rotate. For full immobilization of the ankle joints solid steel pins would replace the inner spings of the ankle joints. The pins would be adjusted with set screws to achieve the proper angle of the platform sandals so the base would contact the ground at 90 degrees to the leg brace. Walking in braces with pinned ankle joints is impossible to do, they would be used for standing only or when full fixation is required. These braces have drop locked knee joints, lower leg length adjusters, and free motion ankle joints. These ankle joints allow my model to walk in small steps by allowing her feet to flex slightly. I have recently come back from Germany, where they have the most wonderful socks and dresses. Both of these I bought there. In Germany my love of feet began, in Germany it continues. People there wear beautiful socks and have beautiful feet (especially the toes). Picture 9 here is the most special I've taken... dedicated to everyone who wears AFOs because they help. And the socks are so confortable. Please, please comment... I never get to talk to anyone about this. I really appreciate it. Love C.
