A yellow lightning flash appeared at the end of June on this corner of the 10ème arrondissement in Paris right above a bar with the matching name Le Flash. Hard to capture in full sunlight, just a few minutes on a Summer morning if you are lucky.
And this all with a wink to the application game FlashInvaders of course!

Live Interactive Video Art installation at Le Flash experimental art festival in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The project consists of two 14 foot high video projected heads of Hmong actors that interact with the audience as they pass by. The audience is encouraged to engage with the heads via a provided microphone. The heads mock the audience and tease them for their strange culture and way of speaking. The project is meant to flip the roles of majority and minority and create the experience of being an immigrant in a foreign country for the audience. A collaborative project by Stefani Byrd and Wes Eastin made possible by a grant from the Atlanta Celebrates Photography festival. Featuring Faith and Jeff Her.
An installation at the Castleberry Point Lofts for the Le Flash event, held in Atlanta October 24, 2008, by Jason R. Butcher, Scott Carter, and Mario Schambon.
