LED signal display at Rail Live 2023. I'm going to say the track clearance needs a little work. 21st June 2023.
Leds are good civilization!
Behold Altera, king of Huns, wielding her mighty Photon Ray sword in all its shining glory.
Altera is my very first moc featuring custom led lighting, and I think the final result turned to be quite good. Certainly, custom leds are expensive and difficult to set up, but they are pure eyecandy.
After searching the internets for brands that sell Lego custom led kits, I finally chose a microled set from Light My Bricks. Their “do it yourself” range is pretty solid.
Altera’s moc is not new. She is actually the very same one that I posted back in 2020. Altera’s was the perfect testbed for led lighting, as her sword should be luminous. The 2020 (unlit) version was not bad at all, but it now looks incredibly dull when compared to the lit one X-D
During Open House Chicago 2018 I stopped by 151 N. Franklin. Although the building is a bland glass skyscraper it does include a relaxing outdoor space including this subtle, color-shifting LED wall.
A view clips of me with various decorative LED's I use on a night out.
