My MGMT (management) class takes place in a theater, which my professor takes advantage of by adding videos and music (which is actually really...awkward) to his lectures. My Sex & Relationships class also meets here, and that instructor is way funnier without trying too hard.

ICAA Southeast is hosting Steve Mouzon for a lecture next Tuesday, September 28 at 6:00 at Rhodes Hall in Atlanta that I would like to make sure you and your team are personally invited. The lecture titled, Architectural Moments: A New Proposal for Detailing Traditional Architecture will focus on the elements that give character and style to a residence such as Entry Surrounds, Dormers, Mantels, and Cornices. The lecture is appropriate for general contractors and their staff, sub-contractors, architects, and designers. Please share the attached eblast with your team and subs. Refreshments will be served on the Rhodes Hall porch. All employees of member firms are considered ICAA Members. There is a nominal fee for this lecture of $10 for members/$15 for general public.
Steve is an architect, urbanist, author, blogger, and photographer based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He co-founded the Urban Guild, which was instrumental in the creation of the Katrina Cottages initiative. The Guild is the nexus of Project: Smart Dwelling, which works to redefine the house to be much smaller and more sustainable. Steve speaks regularly across the US and abroad on sustainability issues. He blogs on Original Green Stories, Useful Stuff, and We Do This Because... He also posts to the Original Green Twitter stream.
