Scenes from COSI's "From Pollution, Art," a lecture and hands-on workshop with John Sabraw. This program took place at COSI on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Join John Sabraw, artist and Associate Professor of Art at the Ohio University School of Art and Design, taught about his pioneering work to harvest Ohio's toxic coal sludge, transforming it into paint, and then, into art.
Attendees enjoyed a lecture by Sabraw, and stayed afterward for a guided hands-on art workshop that allowed participants to create their own piece of art using Sabraw's paints. Workshop participants were able to take their creations home.
