A little bit of leash training for Tigelaar. He's still not 100% sure about being restricted but he seems happy enough to be outside and is slowly getting over his fear of the grass.

Buddy is enjoyng being outside, he is doing very well with his leash training we got him a new Harness to make sure he will not escape when he sees a bird.. He stil loves to be in the playpen too!! But I wanted to try him out with a leash also..

The cat was munching on new green grass. This area was on the edge of the Poppy woods but near an apartment complex, so I suspect it had been overseeded with winter rye grass.

Well, it's taken some time but Tigs is finally over his fear of the grass and has expanded his (limited) roaming area for exploration.

I've seen them a few times at the lake. The cat is leash trained & seems to love outdoor walks. You can see the bond between them by the expression on the man's face and the body language of the cat.

dailymeeze: @constant_headaches We approached it slowly. Put the harness on for 15 minutes a day (no leash) at first. They rolled on floor in protest! After they got used to it we took them out for short spells. It seems to work out best if you start them out young. 😘
