This Juvenile Osprey went back and forth from this tree to it's nest, testing out it's new found ability to fly. Look out for those talons!

Recently fledged juvenile Peregrine Falcon discovering his flying abilities on the tower of the former St George's church, Sheffield. One of four falcons to have fledged in 2026 Ring No. 7CO reveals this to be a male.

And learning how to use Lightroom 5...I am used to old Photoshop CS4 but decided to try Lightroom 5 and I love it! There is however a learning curve and I have experienced some frustration. But it is indeed a great program and I do recommend it.

I found myself with a couple of hours to spare this morning so went for a walk around the Heathdale -Glen Orden Wetlands in the sunshine.
So many babies around the Wetlands today.
Only one flower of the bunch thriving. This is an old shot playing with a new bounce flash. I liked how the pic turned out and the rest as they say, is history. :)

Colorado Springs, CO - This week's Flickr Friday theme is “real” so had an idea, I went to iFLY which is an indoor skydiving facility here in the city, and wanted to capture people flying for real.
There was a little girl who was in the tank for the first time and I took some pictures. The guy on the left of the image with fists in the air of triumph was her father. One could feel the power of love in this real moment of triumph.
