www.stvincent.edu | Karol and James Brown portray Aunt Harriet Tubman and Brother Ely and tell the story of the historic Underground Railroad. Audiences laugh, cry and sing with Aunt Harriet as they visit with her in the parlor of the convalescent home she founded in Auburn, New York, where she lived until she died in 1913 at the age of 93. Karol tells stories that capture the emotions, imagination and humanity of the woman called Moses. Her husband, James, a natural storyteller with a smooth tenor voice, will take attendees on a journey back in time to 1912 and bring the sounds of Negro spirituals into the room with musically enchanting moments.
