Best place for these littles is as close to Mama as possible and that's where they stayed 99.9 % of the time.
Mama bear is a good teacher.
Caught Mama bear chewing on the last remnants of some good salmon caught right in front of the camp area.
Reticulated giraffe (Giraffa reticulata or Giraffa camelopardalis reticulata), aka Somali giraffe.
Sarara Camp periodically hand raises orphaned animals. This giraffe was one such orphan and though she lives a wild life, does come over to greet Camp folks that she knows. This was our hello.

Not a 'trick' of the camera, as these two water lilies were naturally in a 'leaning' position. Captured in fairly bright afternoon sunshine.
Taken in Barnes's Grove, Buckinghamshire, this tree has always fascinated me and I've never been able to get a good shot of it till yesterday. The mist blanked out the harsh sky allowing me to expose this leaning beasty the way I wanted highlighting its writhing, reaching branches.

This house has been abandoned for awhile. The side roof has collapsed. The large window area on the second floor is pulling away from the roof. The whole main area looks like it is leaning forward, so I think it won’t be long. The main floor has the same window treatments as my previous post - the “Texture House.” It was a really big house. It is located in the midst of farmland, so maybe it was a farmhouse. I didn’t see any barns or silos around it though. HWW!

These Silver or Grey Poplars have already dropped their leaves ready for the coming winter while all the other trees still have plenty. All of the trees in this avenue lean this way the remaining trees in the surrounding area do not. It is quite a visually confusing thing to see.
I posted another shot of this young Brown Thrasher earlier, but I like his pose here-- a most inquisitive bird. Glendale, Missouri
Yearling Grizzly Bear cub seems to having difficulty maneuvering on the slope his mother was leading him across.
Taken in Barnes's Grove on a misty winters morning (I know its not officially winter but it feels like it!) Found this wonderful tree that I haven't captured before, having a sway with the remnants of its autumn foliage.
In the beautiful morning light on Cleaver Rd. in Paris ON. Way before all the worries and problems with Covid. Things have changed so much. I went through the drive-thru at Harvey's tonight after work. As she saw I was using the debit card, out came the machine on a Hockey stick. I got a good laugh out of that one.
Happy Fence Friday
Taken on the edge of Knighton's Hill Wood, Buckinghamshire, the path is ominously overshadowed by the wood leaning in as if in a mad rush to escape!
