Standing next to this white walled building, I looked up and saw this. At first I couldn't adjust my eyes to what I was seeing. I was just below the angle of a lean-to structure. (Look at the right-hand end, to see the two walls.)

#15 Lean on Me

Ingredients:

  

2.5 lbs. 93% lean ground beef.

1.5 lbs. hot Italian sausage

1 green pepper, chopped

1 onion, chopped

2 whole eggs, beaten slightly

1 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. black pepper

~1 tsp. garlic powder

2 dashes of chili powder

1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

3 tbsp. salsa

  

Directions:

 

1. Lightly saute onion and pepper in olive oil with chili powder.

2. Combine the beef, sausage, eggs, vegetables, and spices in a mixing bowl. Mush well.

3. Form two footballs of meat, and place them on a tinfoil-lined baking sheet or cookie sheet with raised edges.

4. Batter meatloaves with salsa.

4. Preheat oven to 350.

5. Cook meatloaves approx 1 hour, or until a meat thermometer reads 170 (this is a conservative number).

6. Yay!
