While driving back from exercising I stopped because I spotted some trees with interesting light but I couldn't make anything work. I was going to pack up when I spotted these bottles lying in the grass on the park strip. Apparently I must have looked like I was in distress because several cars slowed down to see what I was doing and someone actually stopped and asked if I was okay. Doesn't everyone take pictures of empty bottles on a cold day resting on the ground? Just me? Have a great day and hope you find some treasures to catch your eye too.

Sure enough there was also a lovely female with her rather grown-up kid, having a nap in the comforts of eucalyptus branches.

Walking the back streets of Valencia, came across this precarious structure. Hopefully the big bad wolf doesn't blow it over.
After stopping meeting an eastbound 240 in South Haven, and stopping again so a dogcatch crew could get on in Kimball, the 243 is good to go once again. Here they are seen near Eden Valley, rounding the bend at MP 69 (shut up).
After taking some sunset photos at Riisitunturi National Park I stayed there and waited to get dark to get some night shots with stars, suddently massive mist rolled over me. So no for star pics, but when that mist gathered to the valley, it looked so nice that I had to take few frames.
CP 9363 leads a hefty train into the curve between Nashua and Tenney on the Elbow Lakes Subdivision. I could see this train from miles away traveling north of Minnesota Highway 9 as it approached the diamond with the BNSF Morris Subdivision. Much to my surprise, the Red River Valley & Western was sitting at the junction waiting to follow this train west into North Dakota. Timing is everything.
...when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
So just call on me brother, when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'd understand
We all need somebody to lean on

Thank you all for your wonderful words, awards, and group invites. I truly do appreciate them all!♥
At the end of May the meadows are very rich with ears of corn and flowers. Here the perspective of a fox stalking through the mat. In the sky a bird.
The head of a partly opening Agapanthus flower supporting a slender grass seed stem by our local lake.
Effect is purely from taking the description of the Slider Sunday group seriously and pushing all ten of my basic sliders to the extreme. Five each way! The background of the original image was just pale blue-grey water in the lake.
Happy Slider Sunday!
Happy Monday Blues too!
